A favoured holiday spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognisable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular stag and hen do destination, Blackpool offers accommodation ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.
Not much open as it is out of season, but still a nice stay.
Not much open as it is out of season, but still a nice stay. We travelled around on the trams to save on parking. Found lovely eating place called the Ginn, food was lovely. Main town shopping was open.

We stayed in Blackpool for one night to see a pre-booked show at the Winter Gardens which was a wonderful venue. Enjoyed pre-show drinks at this venue which was lovely, albeit quite expensive, did not visit any other pubs. Did some shopping in the day, small, but adequate shopping area with Primark M&S etc. Had lunch at independent cafe. All in all an enjoyable overnight stay/trip.

Blackpool is the best place on earth for me.
Blackpool is the best place on earth for me. Its nice when you live in a busy city to find such nice spaces to walk around and relax and places to go when you want activities. I spent the last 12 days of February there and iv loved it 😊
The hotel is just far enough out of Blackpool to make you feel that you are still in Blackpool. Tram stops just outside which is excellent if you wanted to walk or travel by tram. Parking on the front of the hotel is perfect. We arrived early and were able to check in early, leave the car and go off and enjoy our short stay. The hosts were both lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. We were upgraded to a seafront room, breakfast was lovely and we could have had whatever we wanted, nothing was too much trouble.
It was an amazing hotel, from beginning to end, the staff were brilliant, the daughter of the owners, carly was just lovely, and james the all night barman is amazing and we had some good funny banter with him ,he loves the England team lol, room was very clean, ,but the whole hotel was very clean ,and the breakfast was very nice also, a ten minute walk to the pier ,its definitely the best hotel we have stayed in Blackpool, and we have stayed in a few ,we will definitely be back to stay in your hotel again.
Easy to find with parking available so already a good start. Upon arrival we were greeted so friendly and given the help i asked for by Zyta and Magic. Lovely room and such easy location for getting the tram/bus. Greeted each time we came back to the hotel which just gives it that personal touch. Absolutely amazing breakfast and decided we will most definitely book here next time we come to Blackpool. Thank you again Zyta and Magic, such a lovely hotel you have.
The bed was good and comfortable The hotel was in a good location for me as I have set places I visit when in Blackpool. I also like to walk. Did not use the breakfast facilities as I do not eat alot in a morning and like to chose what I want the day I awake up. Downstairs at the hotel they have a grea bar which sells real ales and has music and seating which w\as very nice. Dont drink beer myself but thought it a good idea to add to the good idea of that bar.
We have stayed at many different hotels/ B&Bs in Blackpool, but the four seasons has been the best by far! Dave and Susan are really lovely and can't do enough for you. We had a beautiful family room with everything you could need, and it was spotless. The breakfast was also great, plenty to choose from. The location is perfect, couple minutes walk from the seafront with a tram stop right at the end of the street. I can't recommend this guest house enough!
Very friendly staff treated you like family coming to stay.
Breakfast was the best I've tasted.
The bar was great .
Rooms very cosy and beds were so comfortable.
There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere.
Throughout.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and give it 10 out of 10 for cleanliness.
And room and staff plus food.
If you go to the clifton court hotel .
You won't be disappointed.
There you'll go to stay in blackpool over and over .
The owner was lovely and happy to help us and made sure we had everything we needed for the room. We was given a better room than we booked this was due to it being quiet and was happy to up grade the rooms and was told this when we arrived. The room we was in was a decent size with shower for the price with a cumbered and draws for clothing. The location of the hotel is fantastic nice and easy to get to the main parts of Blackpool.
The Adonis Hotel Blackpool is in the centre of Blackpool. It is a very low budget hotel, therefore the only extra in the room was tea/coffee making facilties. It is very convenient for an overnight stay as it is close to Winter Gardens and next to Blackpool tower and the seafront. The staff were really lovely and helpful. Contact with the hotel was good and parking is available at the front of the hotel for just £10 per night.
I'd definitely recommend The Lindum Hotel in Blackpool for being very reasonably priced, in a great location close to The Tower, The Wintergardens and the seafront, and most of all it was spotless clean. Really nice twin room and clean modern bathroom. Also breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked each morning. Kay and Gerard are very friendly hosts and I would stay here again.
Ben and Ian have done a brilliant job with the hotel. it’s perfectly placed on the front, the rooms are spotless and so comfy, and the breakfasts!! omg… They also have the best stocked bar in Blackpool. To cap it all, they are two of the nicest, most genial hosts in the business. Can’t wait to come back….
The property is very clean and the staff super friendly. I have to say don’t expect anything more than a place to set your bags down and go out. It’s a great location next to the pleasure beach. You can catch the tram right outside the hotel or walk 30 minutes to the Blackpool tower.
We arrived at the butterfly hotel and the staff were so welcoming. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard with a super comfortable bed aha , will definitely recommend to anybody wanting a last minute stay in Blackpool with helpful staff
Friendly, welcoming & helpful staff
Nothing too much trouble,
Comfortable & clean room, with everything required, especially liked that we had a Blackpool tower view from the room.
Short walk to seafront, tower & town centre.
Friendly hotel and staff, owners are polite would recommend if you want to be on the seafront,i have stayed in quite a few hotels in blackpool with Grandchildren that are worse but its clean enough, friendly enough
Good location within walking distance of Blackpool North train station.
Hotel was close to a number of shops, shopping center, bars and restaurants, supermarkets and Blackpool Tram.
Staff friendly
