This charming, boutique-style guest house is set at the end of the Esplanade between Weymouth Beach and the 17th century harbour. It offers 6 rooms with views over Weymouth Bay and harbour. Set between Weymouth’s award winning beach and the historic harbour, The Roundhouse boasts spectacular views over the golden sands of Weymouth Bay in front - and the picturesque 17th century harbour behind - from each of its superbly appointed bedrooms. With 8 guestrooms set over its 3 floors, The Roundhouse has a welcoming ambience where the tone is set to relaxation. The elegantly decorated Roundhouse offers a level of cosmopolitan comfort rarely found at the English seaside. The spacious guestrooms all offer en-suite bathrooms, flat screen television, Wi-Fi facilities and USB charging points with additional touches in each room to make your stay a memorable one. Situated at the very start of the Esplanade, The Roundhouse is close to all Weymouth’s amenities, yet offers a quiet, relaxing spot to unwind. Built around 1812, this Grade II listed Georgian property was a former home to aristocracy, regularly visited by past royalty including the future King George V. All the guest rooms at The Roundhouse are dual aspect with spectacular views over the beautiful Jurassic coastline, as well as the comings and goings of the bustling harbour.
A large basket containing a sumptuous assortment of breakfast goodies for you to enjoy in your room will be delivered to your room door daily at 8.30am. This basket contains a daily changing assortment - using mostly home made and local produce - which we select from : freshly baked bread, croissants and pastries; home made jams and marmalades; home made yoghurts with various toppings; home made fruit fool; porridge; freshly prepared fruit pots; pressed or squeezed fruit juices; 100% fruit smoothies; hard boiled free range eggs; pork sausages wrapped in oak smoked bacon; pancakes/waffles with crispy bacon and Canadian maple syrup; pork chipolatas; home made breakfast patties; hash browns; Bubble and Squeak/Potato cakes; fresh fruit; continental meats and cheeses; Eggs Benedict/Florentine; all for you to enjoy in your room as you watch Weymouth come to life! We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements - please give us plenty of notice in advance of your stay.
Set directly between Weymouth’s golden sands and the historic harbour, the Roundhouse is just a five minute walk from the town centre. This Grade II listed Georgian townhouse is situated at the end of the Esplanade, close to all Weymouth’s amenities, yet still offering a quiet, relaxing spot to unwind.
