The location was amazing....straight out of our room & on to the beach. The staff were so friendly & helpful. Our chalet was perfect with a brand new bathroom. We were able to order pub food & eat in our chalet.

The breakfast was very generous, all great quality produce was used and cooked was made to order. The portions were rather large but you could ask for smaller/small changes and the staff tried to support as needed. There were various vegetarian options available. Room was serviced every day with fresh milk etc. provided.

We thought we had booked a chalet but when we arrived we were in an apartment which wasn’t ideal for our doggy, lovely owner changed us over to the chalet, the staff are all lovely and helpful, the accommodation is very basic but we were grateful to have been changed over to the chalet 😊AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

The location on the beach is lovely although not in one of the prettiest places in Norfolk. The property itself has a number of issues that it needs to address including safety of its visitors and the standards of some of its furnishings which need replacing (in particular, carpets). Within sight of gas terminal but on sea front. Easy access to dog friendly beach . Most pubs closed in Bacton now but there is a well stocked shop . Fish and chip shop ( check hours of opening) and s club on next site which is very clean and does good food .

The beach is excellent.
The beach is excellent. The fish shop and pubs are really good. A good spot for visiting National Trust properties nearby. Friendly locals good scenery fairly quiet roads always a bonus. Obviously we would choose another chalet should we return to Rainbows End.

Absolutely stunning beach, with a coastal path running alongside it. Poachers Pocket pub great for food with a view, but make sure you make a reservation as it gets busy. Fish & Chips shop in town and small ice cream parlour and shop Very dog friendly area On the warmer days if you have your fur baby with you head to Bacton Woods (just a few mins drive away) where you can walk your dog inh the shade. Mandy was amazing and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. the room was comfy. lovely access to the patio area for paddle boarding supplies. tables at the seafront lovely for a cuppa. breakfast was amazing and so much food to choose from. wish we had booked another night. lovely walks in both directions and on the Norfolk coastal path! highly recommend and great value for money too. also little extras like the shower gel, hot chocs etc all lovely touches

The kids spent most of their time body boarding and we were able to take our dog on some areas of the beach. Some lovely little touches - welcome treats, a few tokens for the laundry, a towel for drying the dog and dog bowls. The bowls were particularly useful as we had forgotten ours. While there we booked for 8 nights during summer '23 and we are already looking forward to it.

The room is in a small hotel facility which includes a bar / restaurant area which is convenient as you have all facilities on hand. The beach is close by and we were lucky with the weather. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful and the food was good.

The hosts were very friendly, chatting about the history of the building and the local history too. We could sit with the windows open in the room listening to the waves on the beach, it was very relaxing.
