Great stay at White Hart Hotel. Lovely, friendly staff, everyone was so friendly from reception to bar staff. Food was lovely too, both breakfast and dinner. Car park was a decent size, just across the road from the hotel. Bed was very comfy, decent size room, peaceful location, and centrally located in the town.

Had such a lovely time at the Old ferry inn. The owner is really welcoming and friendly, and The pub has a wonderful traditional feel to it. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was amazing, and it was just a short ferry ride to Fowey.

I don’t remember asking for a quiet room? But it was! The rooms were done in a lovely style, fab view overlooking the water , huge super comfy bed, large stylish bathroom, nice coffee and cookies in the room.Staff were all fantastic, friendly and helpful.

An eyesore upon arrival, loved the yurt it was massive but the fire was way too small it needs to be bigger, needs more outdoor lights more secure ground work with drainage, mixed shower/toilet block, £10 per bag of fire lighting equipment and was only allowed to buy one per night and because the fire wouldn’t stay lit we frize so checked out early. Would only recommend staying with small children if you stay in the summer

We enjoyed the beach with the dunes beside it. It also has an Art creation “Time & Tide Bells” erected in the sea, that rings with the stronger waves at high tide. There are 13 of these bells 🔔 across the country, to bring more awareness of the imminent threats of climate change. The Clay Factory on the other side of the beach, spoils the view a bit. It’s meant to be replaced by a marina in time to come. We visited the beautiful harbour of Charlestown and walked the SW Coastal Path to Porthpean to round of our wonderful visit to that part of St Austell, Cornwall.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Very close to beach.Shops within walking distance.Very dog friendly.Nice pubs nearby.Near Eden project and Lost gardens of Heligan.We also visited Golitha falls and Inky's Smokehouse there .Food was great and views /walks were good.

We didnt spend any time in Par, but, found a fabulous beach about a 5-10 minute drive away called Polkerris. Wonderfull restaurant called Sams, which we ate in the evening. They also did breakfast in a little cabin on the harbour. Lovely sandy beach perfect for families

She took us to the cabin and gave us a quick overview. The main park was closed so not many people around but I am sure it will be buzzing when the season comes. The cabin itself was amazing, all amenities were good. The heater warmed up the entire cabin in minutes. We also had some cider bottles, crones and fresh butter in the fridge as a welcome treat. The stay was amazing overall and a special thanks to Tricia for being so kind.

Bring LOTS of spare blankets as it gets cold at night. Not much space for luggage inside. Power to charge phone and basic needs. Great BBQ facilities outside. Bring a torch as wash hut is a 3 mins walk and can't get into the secure padlock without a decent head torch/ light. Clean washrooms. Perfectly decent, basic breakfast/ coffee provided at extra cost. The location was easy to find. The static caravan was newly furnished and had lots of amenities including pans and bowls and complimentary tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash. Just what you need after a long journey. The beach was very close and a lovely day out.

We had a great night's sleep in our cozy landpod. They provided us with a box of firewood and we had a lovely night with our bottles of wine. Staff were also really helpful and accommodating our request for an extra battery pack as one of our party required the use of a CPAP machine throughout the night.
