Portishead marina is beautiful, such a lovely walk around with bars, cafes and shops. We enjoyed watching the boats in the locks. Within walking distance to the town where we enjoyed an evening meal and craft beers at The port bar, and also great food at The Impero Lounge.

I haven't visited for many years, so it was great to see what has been achieved. Love the Marina area, so good to see the regeneration of the area as a whole A great destination for an overnight stay, or longer to tour the area. Nice walks from the marina out to Battery Rocks Lighthouse, there is an open air lido, lake, nature reserve, good views across to Wales, what is not to like. Good choice of eateries and bars also. So very pleasantly surprised and it is great to see the area looks to be thriving, and lots of well planned housing in place too.

We really enjoyed the Marina and walks around the Marina and town. We visited a few pubs and found the locals all friendly and accommodating, the Guy at The Old Mill (live music Friday/Saturday nights) was happy to show us around and explain what has happened over time to the mill, he also told us to visit The Watermill Inn before we drove home and we found this a beautiful place for walks and views, we will return to try the food!

we were visiting family in Portishead and this property was perfectly located for us to walk back in the evening from their place. It was much nicer than having a hotel room. I only wish we were there longer to enjoy the property. It was very comfortable & had everything we needed & an amazing view. The hosts left us tea, coffee, milk and some breakfast items. We hope to use this property again next time we visit

I live in western Canada and was attending a family wedding here. I did not have the use of a vehicle during my stay and the local taxis are not amenable to taking short trips around the town. The small city I live in is not too much bigger than Portishead (Camrose AB), there the taxis have a fixed charge for anywhere in town. The Town Licensing authority might look at that.

The area is lovely, the developers are doing a marvellous job around the marina. There are places to walk , places to eat and drink and Supermarkets . We ate inWeather Spoons which is great value for money as it was mid week it was not crowded.
Portishead is a small busy town lots of shops and places to have a coffee. We loved it.
Host met us on arrival and handed over keys. they asked if we had visited the area before, which we had, but they also made some suggestions on eating out and shopping close by the apartment.
The venue was clean and tidy and had a lovely outlook, with juliet balcony overlooking trees and a walk way
Bathroom was of a good size with a large bath and overhead shower, both of which had good supply of hot water
The apartment is very close to Portishead harbour, which we made the most of whilst out walking
Immaculate spacious apartment in a beautiful location. Fully equipped with everything you would need. The bed was super comfy and the rooms were beautifully decorated.
Jenny met us on arrival which was really lovely to put a face to the name of our contact.
Highly recommend for anyone to stay in Portishead. Definitely delivered a 5 star service.
Very sad to leave.
Excellent location 2 minutes walk to Marina, lots of places to visit from Portishead, walks from the marina along the side of the estuary, choice of restaurants . The apartment was well equipped had everything you needed, the bed was really comfortable, best sleep I had for a while. Parking space outside, a friendly greet at the accommodation to collect the key

Location was close to our extended family and in a very pretty spot (the lock) with easy access to the lovely little town of Portishead and many excellent supermarkets. Beds were comfy and showers were hot. Great to have a washing machine, full oven / stove, decent sized fridge and dishwasher. Good crockery, pots and pans. Off-street parking.
Cosy apartment, well equipped and convenient location. I was travelling on business and it was a welcome change from staying in “faceless” hotels. Jill, who greeted me couldn’t have been more friendly and responsive to any questions.
Excellent price and the hotel is exactly what it says on the tin, room only with all the basics, tea and coffee etc and lovely smelling soap in the bathroom/shower. It was clean and comfortable and in a great location.
Location was ideal to visit Clevedon (the pier was very interesting and the volunteers did a excellent job) Nailsea and Portishead Marina, (beautiful to walk around or have a meal) Good shopping area too
The location was great for the high street, marina, a walk to the sea, food shops. I didn't need the car. The appartment and situation were so quiet, with the canal behind but very close to amenities.
Great alternative to a hotel stay - peaceful, lovely gardens, comfortable accommodation, friendly hosts and Steve the cat was a bonus. Would stay again.
