This is an outstanding B&B. It is a beautiful home which is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owners are particularly welcoming and always very helpful paying great attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent.

The Summer House offers a unique, relaxing and informal place to stay. We offer a five bedroom, spacious residence where guests' comfort is our priority. Each bedroom is en-suite and is stylishly, sympathetically decorated retaining many period features. All guests are invited to enjoy the house, with its stunning drawing and dining rooms and private walled garden. On arrival guests are offered a refreshing tea or coffee and slice of homemade cake. We also offer guests an aperitif between 6 and 7pm, along with a complimentary 24 hour pantry where teas, coffees, soft drinks and snacks are available. The house has free fibre-optic broadband throughout. Guests are welcome to use our on site car park. We go the extra mile to ensure guests have a great stay in Cornwall, offering a picnic lunch, blankets and a thermos by prior arrangement for day trips out.
Kirsten and Trevor are friendly and generous hosts. Our dream of running our own unique bed and breakfast started during our years of working in the travel and hospitality sector. It became a reality when we happened across The Summer House. We have decorated the rooms in a sympathetic, elegant but relaxed style to help you have a most comfortable stay. Kirsten is a painter and art tutor and the rooms are enhanced with her original artworks. We bring a wealth of local knowledge and can help you plan your stay to get the most out of this outstanding region. Kirsten also speaks French and German.
The Summer House is an elegant Regency, boutique bed and breakfast with private guest garden and car parking, a stone's throw away from the iconic Victorian seafront promenade. The Summer House nestles between the sea and beautiful Penlee Park and sub-tropical Morrab Gardens. Fantastic restaurants in Penzance and Newlyn are within walking distance of the property. Close by are picturesque Mousehole, Marazion, St Michael's Mount, St. Ives, Sennen beach, Land's End & Minnack Theatre
