Asos is a beautiful place and so can get a bit overcrowded during the day. RIO Boutique hotel is just a few hundred metres out of the town so preserves the quite relaxed feel, whilst maintaining the gorgeous sea and sunset views and being close to town for dinner. We stayed 4 lovely nights in the Iris room which had a comfy bed, functional bathroom and small kitchen area with fridge to cool your wine. The view from the room was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting and staring at the ocean. The pool and breakfast area are both relaxed spaces where like minded guests exchange stories and recommendations. Parking is available next to the hotel (5 spaces i recall) and over the road if that’s full. The owners and staff are lovely people and will do anything to make your stay a good one. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a lovely village but retain a peaceful and relaxed vibe. We loved it and i’m sure we will be back.

The hotel is in a very beautiful location with lovely views from the pool and from our room. We were really pleased that we chose Assos, as it was the loveliest place we visited on Kefalonia, and felt very lucky a room was available at Roi suites. The suite was spacious, clean and pretty and we had everything we needed. We would definitely go back.

Great location overlooking the sometimes neglected Assos view toward Myrtos and the cliff-lined peninsula beyond. The pool and terrace area are great with comfortable loungers, parasols and seating, including a large shaded terrace where breakfast is served. Our room was very comfortable with a daybed for lazing on during the afternoons, good air con and a great bed with a firm mattress. The terrace/balcony was lovely with the same views as the pool out to sea. Breakfast was fairly basic but always included eggs, cake and pastries so should meet most people's needs and tastes. The village of Assos is a five minute walk down the hill so easy to get to except perhaps to those with mobility issues. All in all a perfect place for a lazy stay in Assos. Plenty of parking which can be a challenge in Assos.

The hotel was incredible, really beautiful and beyond our expectations. The location is amazing, with the most stunning views. It was easy to walk into the main town and beach.
