I think with a hotel like this, expectations need to be in line with the cost. We paid around £65 per room for one night, with breakfast included.
For that price I don’t think I could have a single complaint. Staff were friendly, rooms were fairly basic but clear and pretty modern, beds were comfy and location was very good.
We did’nt use the pool, but the sunbeds looked like the comfiest I’ve ever seen, with about 1 foot thick pillows / toppers on them. I’d definitely stay again if I’m Rhodes town for a night or two!

Everything was wonderful.
Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Perhaps the reason is big number of tourists who want to visit different parts of the island.

Rhodes town exceeded my expectations.
Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive.
Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. There are a couple of establishments who trick you into a 'medium' or 'large' beer and they bring out 2L pints costing ££££.

The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything!
I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. Easy to rent a car and go discovering other areas of the island. Would've loved to stay longer.

A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days there. The old town is great, go off the beaten track to avoid the tourist traps and find the more interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The modern part of the town was like anywhere in the world and the sea front is littered with gaudy monstrosities of jail like hotels. Very glad we stayed in the old town which was quirky, quiet and personal.
John was such a wonderful host. Coordination for pickup with him was easy as breeze and his recommendations for restaurants and activities were all great. The hotel was like a small vila located inside the old town with delicious breakfast, gorgeous courtyard, and quiet night. We passed by a few other boutique hotels nearby and thought Zacosta is the true low key hidden gem which we prefer. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again if we come to Rhodes next time. Thank you John for the great hospitality!
We live on Rhodes and wanted a weekend in Rhodes Town for Christmas 🎄. We could not have picked a better hotel. We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on half board. The staff, the room, and the food were perfect. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights our room was cleaned and changed after the first night. Bar and restaurant staff were all lovely. Well done to you all :-) The location was perfect, right in the City for easy walks to the wonderful harbour, shop's and bar's and Christmas Lights
I have stayed in a number of hotels in Rhodes Town and this is far the best I have stayed in. The room was amazing clean, comfortable, fridge with bottle of water, coffee machine, hairdryer and had the best shower! Hosts were also amazing really friendly. We were able to drop our luggage off before check in time and they telephoned me when the room was ready. Location was great - in the middle of it all but not too noisy. I will definitely stay here again.
Great Location with everything within a walking distance. We rented a car but we didn't use it in Rhodes town at all. The night life alley is also about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, as well as a variety of restaurants. Old town is about a 10-minute nice walk away.
The staff was absolutely friendly and very helpful. Corona tests were offered at the hotel.
Definitely get the room with the sea view, it's worth it!
Beach is right across from the hotel.
We stayed at the Ibiscus Hotel 8 years ago and had a great time. This time we traveled with several friends and everybody was very satisfied. We all got ocean front rooms. The rooms are renovated, beautiful, clean, the staff is still so friendly and efficient, the food is amazing and the breakfast is out of this world! The location couldn't be better, right on the beach and walking distance from all main sites. We highly recommend this hotel in Rhodes.
Excellent location at the Northern tip of Rhodes Town with access to the beaches on the Western (windy) and Eastern (more calm) sides of the island. Also, the hotel has a reasonable sized pool with a large area for sunbeds unlike many hotels in Rhodes Town. There is also a bar and restaurant at the pool.
The sea and sunset views from the rooms are fantastic. The superior rooms on the top floors are renovated.
The owner Marianna is an attentive hostess and very professional. She reflects the very best of her native Denmark and her adopted country, Greece. The staff are quietly efficient and friendly. Breakfast is hearty and varied. The hotel is located just inside the old city and all major landmarks are easily within walking distance. It has character through and through. Highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel. Near the beach, bus stop to the airport, taverns, shops. Very comfortable and quiet. Very comfortable bed, cleaning every day, change of towels. The territory is beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast.
The owners of the hotel are the best people in Greece. They saved my life, and I will be eternally grateful to them. I highly recommend it for living
The location is great, just in the centre of the old town. The hotel host Dimitra was so helpful and tried her best to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as it could be. We even hugged her while leaving Rodi, it felt like we were leaving from one of our relatives' houses :) Breakfast was very good. Can't say enough positive things. Highly recommend it.
The staff are very helpful and kind. The location of the pension is very central, in old town. It is not a luxury hotel (not the best beds you ever sleep), but small, cosy and good service for the price. It is also very clean. Some rooms have a shared cute garden that you can chill.
Eleni and her family, running this unique hotel in the historic town of rhodes, welcomed us warmly.
We stayed with our two young boys (4- and 6-years old) one week at the D’Argento Boutique Room. Eleni supported us exploring the island with useful tips and helpful arrangements.
The location is very good near to old town and sea facing with restaurants supermarket and bustop all nearby.
Above Oceanfront restaurant the sign board for the hotel may not be in view but once you checkin its a comfortable stay. We stayed for 6days and it was a nice time.
Fantastic modern hotel, right in the heart of Rhodes town. Great room, even better staff, and only a 15 min walk into Rhodes Old Town. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us when one of us fell unwell on the final day of our stay. Highly recommended staying here!
I was here with my wife. The breakfast was very nice, the staff was very very friendly. We had a clean room and stayed for three nights. The location of the hotel is perfect to discover Rhodes town and old town.
We only planned to stay here for one night but it was so good we extended our stay, hence two reviews. We are now staying in an All inclusive 5 star hotel south and I just wish I was back here instead.
George was a fantastic host and his apartment was just beautiful. The roof top terrace overlooked the old city and the Med. It was convenient to everything and we walked to all sites in Rhodes.
The staff was super nice and friendly. We had an amazing stay. The hotel is really well located in old town. The view from the rooftop at night is wonderful! Highly recommend this place!!
The hotel is new and comfortable. Its location is near the beaches and the rhodes old town (with 5-10 minutes of walk). The greak-style breakfast is great.
Beautiful ancient building in amazing old town on Rhodes.
Manager very helpful on hotel matters as well as on Rhodes in general. More than call of duty.
