the hotel itself is really nice. but the location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, so in the evening if you want to go to restaurant it's very hard to get a taxi. hotel restaurant close around 8pm or 8:30 already. so you might want to have a better planning for your dinnner options.

Breakfast variant was small. it will be good if they can make bigger selections. some hot soupy stuffs will be very good with the cold weather. also, staffs should take initiative to clean the seats and wipe dry for guests.

Place could be nice of they will start to care more about quality of service. They theive becouse people usually come for one night. Thats is shame becouse place can be great, and that could help to develop the Kintamani region.

This is a stunning area of Bali with the Geopark and many attractions around. Totally different pace to Ubud and other parts of the south. Thoroughly enjoyed the change of scene and pace here, and as always the people are so nice.

Loved this area, so different to the many other areas we visited, perhaps because it is cold at night and hot in the day.
Lush and wilderness feeling with stunning vistas of heights and mountains, lake and village.
Surprisingly upmarket spas and cafes and accomodations.
Multiple hot springs each more elaborate than the next.
Loved the regular village life and agriculture going on everywhere.
I was hesitant to put Kintamani in our 3 week itinerary but it was unique in Bali, spectacularly beautiful and that great mix of tourism convenience but with regular Balinese life going on all around you.

Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! But it is bali.... so expect rubbish, lots of traffic and run down places. But no matter the look, the food was fantastic and so cheap at every place we went.
This isn't a party place, but if you do plenty of activities during the day, hiking, bike riding, white water rafting ect youll be in bed early!
The hot springs in town-
Toya desa- run down charm but loved it! Has terrible reviews online but they seem to have fixed all those problems eg/plastic over the food and allowed refund of cash if you paid by cash (not entry ticket) to load up a token you use (handy cosyour constantly in the water)
Massage wasn't great but facilities good.
The other hot spring- great massage! But really bad facilities and pools.
Mt butar is fabulous. Sunrise hike was incredible... but its extremely cold at the top, so bring warm gear. Beginners hike but it is a mountain so no thongs/flip flops.
Great place to visit for 3-5 days.

The best view that you can find in Asia.
The best view that you can find in Asia. The people are nice, there are 3 ways to reach there are a lot of options. The police also actively manage the street to get rid of traffic. A lot of nice restaurants with the best view.

I would recommend to visit Kintamani for the coffee & the beautiful views of nature. Visit Volcano Batur for a hike to see the sunrise (bring hiking shoes, wind jacket, water, small breakfast & headlight, you are not allowed to do the hike by yourself, you pay for a guide).
Very nice little homestay. You're greeted with a drink and some fried Bananas. Very lovely and helpfull hosts. Simple but sufficient and clean rooms. Shared bathroom always clean. You can book a guide and everything through the owners or they'll otherwise organise it for you. I needed a scooter and they drove me to the rental place and picked me up again without asking anything on return. One of if not the most, hospitable place I stayed in Bali so far.
Would definitely return here if I am in the area again.
during my trip in Bali. the only place that made me memorable was Bali cottages lake view.
I really feel, all night I chatted with Joni, talking about each other's experiences, experiences that I had never had before. Thank you, Joni.
WiFi works fine, good breakfast, normal hot shower in perfect bathroom
while staying at the cottages, we also did the Batur tour, Joni managed it well. the price was also very commensurate with what we got during our stay here.
The bungalow is comfortable and the facilities of the hotel are beautiful. All the details, the doors, statues, plants, are cute. The little pool is a perfect place for a lovely sunset with the volcano view. The breakfast was very nice. The staff don’t speak much English but are very kind and helpful, google translator always helped!! We stayed for nearly one week and had an amazing time using all the spaces in the facility.
Naya is amazing host! His family is very nice and they all welcomed us like family <3 The view is stunning, Naya has his own garden with so many plants, fruits, vegetables, and these all surround the glamping tents! In front of the tents is a beautiful volcano, on the right is the lake view and the best of the bests - sunrise <3 Stay at Tukadsari was one of the best in Bali!
The hot shower was amazing and the staff organized our trekking to mount batur, where we bathed at the hot spring and taking an amazing view of the mountains. Our room was very tidy and neat, and all the staff was kind enough to fulfill all our needs! By far, this has been the most enjoyable stay we've ever experienced at Bali!
we liked the hotel, pool, room and staff was super friendly. view was nice as well. we were however, a bit disturbed by a lot of people who came to the restaurant and other common areas, as it seems the hotel did quite a promotion for external guests as well. we were hoping to get a bit more secluded and private place.
The views of the mountains were amazing. The location made mountain and lake activities more accessible than in other areas of Bali. The staff provided a free shuttle to the main road. Staff were easily contactable by WhatsApp, and were no problem when we left early.
The view. My god, the view!! Every time I looked up from my book, my jaw dropped.
Ketut was SO lovely, and her mie goreng was the best we had the whole time we were in Bali. Try it. You won’t be sorry.
One of the most remarkable places I’ve ever stayed.
Great accommodation with magnificent views. The hot springs pool is wonderful. Bed super comfortable, bali coffee delicious. Staff are very helpful and will help you organise anything you need. Food was basic but OK. Breakfast was fine.
We liked that the property was off the beaten track and we were treated very well by Sonya and Jimmy. Balinese cooking by Sonya lovely and fresh. Nice and relaxing beautiful scenery and natural hot springs pool a bonus.
