One of the first Bali resorts, Kuta has a long, sandy beach and great nightlife - reasons why it’s one of Indonesia’s top tourist spots.
Another popular draw is Kuta surfing. From gentle rollers to lefthanders, the waves are great for all abilities. Several shops in town sell big-brand surf gear at knockdown prices, while other shopping options include Kuta Square, Discovery Mall and Bali Mall Galleria.
There’s also no shortage of places to eat. Street vendors offer local fare, while international cuisine is served in restaurants of the Kuta hotels on Booking.com. When the sun goes down, the heat goes up, as the bars and clubs in party zone Jalan Legian kick into life. For something more refined, the bars by Kuta Beach waterfont are a great spot to watch the sun set with a refreshing cocktail.
If you’re up early enough to see the Sanur Beach sunrise, you might get to see locals throwing traditional offerings into the sea. Spirituality is a big part of Balinese life and there are yoga and meditation classes, not to mention spas to revive the senses.
The gateway to southern Bali, Denpasar Airport is right on the edge of the town, so it won’t be long before you can stretch out and soak up the sun.

It felt similar to Seminyak. The beach s not as good, in that it does not have restaurants on the beach like Seminyk has. Kuta beach mall is nice if you're looking to shop brands and pay western prices. There are plenty of restaurants in Kuta, plenty of tourist shops, plenty of tour booking angencies, currency exchange etc... Very convinient in that it is not far from the airport and not far from Waterbom water park.

There was no late night noise, very peaceful. Shower was lovely, warm water whenever we wanted it. We liked the Indian restaurant over the road. We did not visit the beach this time, due to reports of harassment by sellers. we were only there 3 days, so hopefully net time we will have a good walk around. We really love Bali and hope we can come back in the future. We will always stay at Febri's. It would be especially good if you provided transport to and from Airport, and we would be more than willing to pay for this. Excellent location / cozy and spacious well appointed room. Srprisingly universal adopters were provided in the working table. Big advantage when you realise that you are not carrying one. Excellent spread of items for Breakfast. Dinner from Indian restaurant Rang Mahal was great. We were Upgraded to Suite room on second day. Family room also was good but Suite room was better as there was smart TV, Especially on Nepesi day 11th March when all TV transmission was stopped. Kuta is a relaxing location.
Kuta is a relaxing location. Bubba Gump and Bamboo & Grill are excellent eateries - almost next door to the Adhi Jaya (within 30 seconds walk). The Hotel restaurant serves good quality food. The breakfast is good too. Waterbom Park is 1 minute walk away. Kuta is close to everything. The best part of Kuta is the people.

Been coming to Bali for over 15 years. Sadly the roads are out of control, there is too much traffic, a one hour drive from Kuta to Prerenan took 2.5 hours. Once you get near Cangue, it is just a shamozzle. With the new taxes and levies the government are bringing in (estimated $185,000 per day) strongly suggest they fix the roads and walkways which are dangerous to walk on particularly at night with insufficient lighting and missing tiles. The bike & scooter riders in Bali need to show some respect to cars they clearly don't follow road rules and its not like it used to be and not for the better!

Room was clean and bed comfortable. The location was great right near a shopping mall! We booked last minute as near to the airport and did not no there is also a Bali Resort and amazed at how big the complex was. It was only a short walk through the hotels grounds to the beach where we had a few bottles of Bintang Beer and watched the sun go down!

I was about to book grabcar to go to to town and the staff were so helpful in informing me that its much cheaper to book Gocar and helped me to do it on their app.. very comfortable bed and clean room
