Exceptional hostess The bed was huge and comfortable. This is the only place we stayed on this vacation out of 8 different hotels and airbnbs that had a top sheet, which we much prefer Breakfast was very generous with juice, coffee, tea, baked goods as well as several hot things to choose from. i had eggs w avocado and toast. Our table was by the window where we could view the water.

We had a fantastic time at Barrow lodge! The location is idyllic and a peaceful haven for those who want to switch off and relax. Lovely breakfast and room was beautifully decorated. Clodagh was such a kind and warm host, we would love to come back and stay here the next time we are in the area.

I cannot sing the praises of this lovely establishment enough. The room was lovely, clean, spacious, comfortable. The location is the most tranquil setting I've ever stayed in, you can sit for hours just watching the landscape. But what really makes Barrow Lodge so special are the people. Clodagh is an absolute gem who will do anything to make her guests comfortable and happy; we had a major problem with our car which, with a few phone calls Clodagh got sorted for us. And a big shout out for Clare who makes the best breakfasts, especially scrambled eggs. We will forever remember our stay at Barrow and hope to return one day.

The hotel was clean, comfy and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived they looked after us very well, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a wonderful place and you can definitely see the owners enjoy what they do. The room had a spectacular view of the sea and the area was very nice and quite and serene. At night it felt like you were driving in the coast of Italy, especially on a warm sunny evening when the sun sets. It’s a beautiful location one I would be very happy to come back to.
