Also took advantage of visiting a local distillery- fabulous ! The Shed .

Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere.
Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere. The area by the river is particularly beautiful. There are plenty of things to do and see and the market ( if you get the chance to see it) is lovely. The tiny Costello chapel is moving and a tiny gem. Really good range of places to eat and some very excellent ones amongst them. The whole town has a bustling vibrant feel and is a complete delight. It is well located to allow you to visit a range fo places of interest further afield.

Apartment was clean, bright spacious, exactly as described. Mo and Stuart were lovely to deal with, checking in and out was easy they were friendly, approachable and very helpful during our stay even going beyond to help us out with an issue we had. Rooms were comfortable and the area was ideal- quiet yet a stones throw to the centre of town. Would happily recommend this to friends and family and will definitely rebook next time we are down in Carrick on Shannon.
We didn’t stay at the property. The little gem by the boardwalk was disgusting, dated, and did not have anything to recommend it. It was mis sold and I therefore request a complete refund. I understood that the bathroom was an en suite and that we would have some privacy and not sharing the apartment with the proprietor. We had to check into an hotel which cost us €500.00 for the three nights.
We await your response!!
Brilliant house, especially for children and a bonus that it allows pets. The children loved the trampoline and climbing frame.
Very private with plenty of space for the children and dogs to run about, yet only a 5 minute drive to Tesco and a shopping outlet, and a 10 minute drive to Carrick on Shannon town centre.
House quite modern, with a cosy living room. Nice view of the lake.
Will definitely return
A friend and I stayed here while we were on a hen weekend in carrick on Shannon. We wanted a bit of peace and quiet away from the town and that is what we got! The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was perfect, all the amenities we needed and even a gorgeous terrace area to enjoy a cup of tea before hitting the town. Only wish we got to stay longer!
The hotel is charming, historic and in the heart of the village. Food and drink located on the premises, free secure parking and staff willing to help at every opportunity. I was lucky enough to be booked into the Michael Collins room which was an extra delight for anyone interested in Irish history.
We loved everything about the Leitrim Marina Hotel. Collette at reception was so helpful and so welcoming and gave us an upgrade, all the staff were very pleasant room was very clean with a lovely view of the canal. We will be staying here again as soon as possible. ❤
Fantastic location. Very spacious & clean. Good size tv & all you would need for a great stay in Carrick on shannon. Plenty of places to eat & drink nearby. Little gala shop just around the corner. Philip was available to ask for any suggestions if needed.
Breakfast was excellent and the room was great!! It definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff was super nice especially the front desk. The restaurant and the lunch/dinner menu was very convenient and food selection and taste was excellent as well.
Nice property but cost was very high given the quality. The location is fab, we sat watching boats go by in the sun outside which was lovely. The food was very nice. we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and staff were fab.
Couldn’t rate The Bush Hotel high enough, staff, food, facilities and attention to detail were excellent. We traveled with our 2 children and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Felt really safe COVID wise as well.
Kelly, at the front desk was very helpful and was able to let us check in a couple hours early. It’s a lovely hotel right across from the marina and close to everything in town.
