My sister and I stayed for 2 nights as a base for touring Dublin. It's situated in a peaceful street, which is a 2-minute walk from the bus stops to and from the city. The bus takes between 20-30 mins depending on traffic. Our room was amazing! Stunning decor, spotlessly clean, stocked fridge and cupboards and even crisps, chocolate and wine! Also, the bed was super comfortable. Being able to have our breakfast / coffee on the patio was a huge luxury, lovely garden with table and chairs. You have your own access in and out of the suite, so it's very private and you don't see anyone at all. Joan and Pat are the loveliest, most welcoming and attentive hosts you could ever hope for. We loved our time there, would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone.

This is a typical Irish home situated just outside of Dublin city. Public transportation is a short two-minute walk and for car owners there is plenty of parking available. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and very cosy. There is a brand-new bathroom which has a powerful shower in a marble type ceiling to floor tiles. This bathroom is shared by two rooms (maximum 3 people). New bathrooms have been provided for the Autumn Room and the Garden Room which has its own entrance. The kitchen/dining area is a welcoming space that is beautifully decorated. The back garden is a delightful array of colour, with seating available along with a table so that guests can eat out al fresco! Guests will experience Irish life at first hand in Beechtree House
Pat & Joan are married a long time... they own Beechtree House and have been running a B & B for nearly 4 years. We take great delight in meeting our guests and make them feel at home immediately. People feel that they are part of the family - and always want to return.
Lucan boasts of a sweet village (with some very good pubs) and a breathtaking park that includes the winding path of the River Liffey. The village is only 20/25 minutes walk from our house and as you pass the beautiful grounds of Lucan Golf Club (the public are welcome to play) - you will find yourself outside The Ball Alley - who serves the best pint of Guinness for miles. Kenny's pub with its beautiful beer garden, equally boasts about its delicious food and fine wines.With public transport only two minutes away, the C4 bus will bring you straight into Trinity College, Temple Bar and of course the most popular Guinness Store House - or travel the opposite direction by bus to Maynooth, a university town that's only 15 minutes away, where you will find trendy restaurants and a beautiful college.
