Hosts where very warm and attentive. The room was spacious and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was taylored for each guest. Teresa and her partner where amazing with us, cleared all our doubts around the area and gave very good recommendations. Take in mind is a property that you need a car to be able to move comfortable.

Downtown Bantry has many places of interest and is typical of an Irish village. Every Friday there is a market on the main square. It has all the amenities a person needs. A number of good pubs and restaurants. The food at the Brick Oven is really good. Very friendly people. The Connection has all the high-tech equipment a traveler might need.

I liked that we were in a rural area but close to everything. We enjoyed horseback riding, hiking on Sheep's Head, the pubs, restaurants, and shopping. There was an excellent Italian restaurant with great pizza. The butcher was excellent, and we enjoyed shopping at SuperValu.

Bantry is an excellent base for exploring West Cork and beyond. It remains a traditional old-style rural town full of shops and pubs, locally named. Not very touristy. There's a sense of Irish history about it. It has a a very good Tourist Office and a fine new main square. A very good day to be there is a Friday, market day...excellent for every kind of locally made & grown produce. Bantry grows on you, especially the natural friendly warmth of its people. So, stay a while.

The opportunity to hang out in several different spaces was really nice.
Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked for each person each morning.
The house and our room was pristine and beautifully decorated.

This is the place to stay, travelling round Ireland from Australia and I have to say this is the best place by far!! Theresa the host couldn't do enough for you. The attention to detail 👌. The breakfast in the morning was the best I've had in the 18 day's of been her. The rooms and beds are spotless. I have to say this is a gem in Bantry Bay. 🇦🇺🇮🇪☘️💚
Myself and my dad loved everything! From our warm welcome from Eileen with a cup of tea and homemade tart! My dad was in heaven. lovely clean and spacious room. Great shower. Only a 2 minute walk to Bantry bay shore. We will definitely be back if we are anywhere near!
Edencrest B&B was extremely comfortable and the bedroom had a good view overlooking Bantry Bay. We had a lovely welcome from Barry, who also told us of a number of options in the area for walking or viewing the next day. Breakfast, provided by Josephine, was superb.
Peggy is just the best. You will feel the warm and cozy environment over her B&B.
