My stay at the Peepal House was wonderful. The facilities are great, and the location is perfect. The manager, Mr Parvat, is one of the kindest and most supportive persons I have ever stayed with. He does everything to make his guests welcome, and to ensure that they have a great visit. No matter the interests or needs of guests, no matter the time of day, he and the staff get everything done, and are always helping. I spent 2 nights in this hotel were everything was absolutely perfect. The rooms were clean, the owner of the hotel is a very helpful and deeply human person and we enjoyed a lot the diner at the rooftop restaurant of the hotel. By the way, the view is absolutely amazing right there. The location was also perfect, near everything you must see in Udaipur. Bonus, the wifi was not working well the first night, so the owner offered to move us to another room where the wifi was working perfectly, while kindly upgrading us to a magnificent suite. I recommend a 100% this hotel !

We loved our stay at Little Peepal. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms and it’s been done very tastefully and was definitely the best bathroom we’ve had so far in India. Location was ideal (note that only tuktuks can get to this part of the city, not ubers) as it was central and peaceful. The roof terrace was delightful and the breakfast and dinners were delicious (the spinach crepe for breakfast was a highlight). The staff made our stay very comfortable and were helpful with booking onward trains and buses. Our favourite hotel so far in India - thank you for having us!

Little Peepal House is a fantastic hotel having clean rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is situated in the Old City close to many restaurants, cafées, shops, and sightseeing opportunities. The rooftop of the hotel has a spectacular view overlooking the lake and mountains. The owner Parvat, his staff, and his family, was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parvat was always reachable on WhatsApp. I can strongly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. :)

I loved this place! A simple, but very pleasant hotel in a quiet street, close to the lake, the Jagdish temple and the palace. The owner, Parvat, and his family were very friendly and helpfull and made me feel happy, safe and at home. And what a wonderful view from the rooftop. So nice to sit there early morning or at sunset to overlook the city and the lake. With Prem we made trips to Eklinji and to Kumbalgargh, that was great! Thanks for a wonderfull stay and a hug for your two lovely little boys!

Cosy little hotel in the old town of Udaipur. Sat on the rooftop terrace every night to watch the sunset. I really enjoyed my stay in Little Peepal House, Parvat is a great host. The breakfast was great, especially the Beetroot Pancakes where amazing. I can also strongly recommend to ask for the day tour towards the Kumbhalgarh Fort, they have an English speaking driver who took us, this Fort is absolutely amazing!

I never met someone as helpful as Parvat ( the hostel owner). When I arrived in Udaipur, I had very bad and painful stomach infection. When I told Parvat about my state he spontenaously brought me to hospital and stayed with me the whole night. Next he came every day to check how I was until I was finally able to leave hospital. Then I came back to his hostel where he selected a good room for my remission, with not too much stairs to climb and fresh temperature. I could ask the staff anything about special food I had to eat or drink because of my illness. Also his family helped me, for example bringing me again to hospital later for further check. Room was big clean and well equiped. The hostel has also an amazing rooftop where you can relax. Thank you Parvat and everyone for your help :) If I am in Udaipur again I will come back.
