Cute place with great local restaurant at the front- very good food. 3rd floor room was atticy but very well appointed, comfortable, and clean with everything needed. Beautiful location on a piazza with deli and churches. History everywhere, loved it.

Super close to the train station. Literally next to the exit with just 1 min walk. It’s also a close walking distance to the pier to hop on the boat to other islands. The place is very nice, cozy and modern. Well cleaned. Sofa bed is very comfortable and big unlike other places. There’s snack (biscuits, macaron), tea and water to welcome us. There’s a microwave in the kitchen with all the kitchenware. Bathroom is well equipped with amenities. Water pressure is strong. The owner is also super nice and helpful. He stood in front of the place to make sure we find the place. When we msg him to ask something at night, he offered to come by to help and we’re very glad.

The house with red sunsets is set in Varenna, 50 km from Basilica of San Fedele, 50 km from Como Cathedral, as well as 50 km from Broletto.
