First we wuld like to mention that all of the staff are really friendly and helpful. They immediately helped with parking and gave good tips of the city and the sourrounding. The location of the hotel is just perfect - being right at the harbour and only minutes away from the city center. The only problem is the bar a few houses down. The music is so loud that the hotel cannot guarantee a quiet night. There is nothing they can do about it - it is not their fault. The bar believes to be a top open air discoteque in Turkey where the music is at around 80 - 90 DB. Also there are many cars passing by and the windows are not that sound proof - here the hotel needs to do something.

Room above reception was clean and comfortable if a little small. Our friends upgraded and had a beautiful view over the harbour worth the extra £.
Parking in a square around the corner was free and easy.
Location is perfect to stroll the main street or wander down to the marina for food (3 upmarket fish resteraunts).

Staying in La Piazzetta was the best desition we make in our Sicilian holidays. The hotel is an absolute gem in a beautiful town. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing and they make you feel at home. The help us to move around the area with a lot of love and suggested us the best restaurants in the area with the sensitivity to understand what we were looking for. We were supposed to go only for 2 nights and we end up staying 5. We couldn’t leave!!

Fabulous small hotel. Rooms were immaculate. Pool was wonderful. Breakfast selection excellent and staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Great location to town and port and a nice 15 min walk to a sandy beach with free shuttle back. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Everything was so beautiful and comfortable that I cannot choose anything specifical. The location fits our tourist plans. We visited Monreale, Erici, Palermo. In the morning and in the evening we ate "at home" and we had lunch in some nice restaurant on the way. Everything was perfect.

In October, this is a lovely place.
In October, this is a lovely place. The weather is still warm but the crowds have dissipated. Wonderful walking paths ad streets. Good restaurants and the Riserva near Scopello is a short drive and well worth the visit for the hiking and swimming coves.

One of the most beautiful places in Sicily.
One of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Wide, long sandy beach. Mountains around. Also a lot of places for hiking. And you could find small hidden beaches which are not crowded or even your company will be the only one. Perfect place to stay for a week

Beautiful buzzing place to stay. Nice at the harbour for food and people watching but also great on the side streets and main strip for restaurants and other little independent shops. We didn't get around to visiting the castle or nearby beaches as we were only there 3 nights. The town has a great marina and perfect view at the neraby mountains. It's missing a nice beach though. The center is filled with restaurants - most of them are quite expensive, but if you go a bit deeper into the town you can find something more affordable. A lot is going on during holiday weekends - concerts, festivities and live music.

The breakfast is really delicious and it has a various choice of local sweets and fruits. The room is nicely decorated and we had a small terrasse which is really nice. The staff is really nice, very helpful and smiling all the time. The hotel deserves more than 3 stars. It was our nicest hotel in Sicily. If we come back again to Castellammare, we will definitely go back there.

The residence is situated in a typical residential street, just 5 mins on foot from the pedestrian area, all restaurants and amenities making it very easy to go back to rest if needs be and out again in no time! Wi-fi worked very well. Fantastic view from the patio. Also, roof top of the hotel rooms has fantastic views which is a shared area. Owner's Mom came and showed us a around and was very kind and caring since the owner was out of town. Nice apartment with all that you need.
