Enza’s house was perfect for our overnight stop along the Via Francigena. she thought of everything you might need for a short stay in Tuscany. everything was clearly labelled and easy to find. she welcomed us with her English speaking friend Monica and gave us snacks and locally made drinks. The apartment is located centrally in the old town. The town of Buonconvento is very nice, well worth a visit. The facilities were excellent, host very attentive. Nice touch with a welcome bottle of wine, kitchen well equipped, heating and beds excellent.

Lovely villa with plenty of space and a private garden and pool all surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside. It was very well equipped and the owners were lovely to deal with. It’s set on an established walking / cycling trail off the main road. There’s some lovely local restaurants in the agriturismos nearby, the beautiful city of Siena is a short drive and local food markets in Buonconvento are excellent. The beautiful wine growing towns of montepulciano and montalciano are also pretty close by car.
