It took us a while to decide on this hotel. It is right on the harbour, but fairly fast to get to from the main road. The approach is not picturesque but location improves upon arrival. A small personal hotel with some quaint rooms, with a view of the ocean and yacht harbour. The old town of Sciacca is easy to get to if you can climb a few flights of stairs. Many restaurants close by. If you want to have a room with antique flair, stay in the main house, if you prefer more modern and more quiet, ask for the Marina building. Plenty of free parking! And only a short drive to many sights along the cost to Agrigento and to the Palermo Airport.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place.
Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.
Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants.
Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there.
Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.
It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay.
Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay. The residents are kind and welcoming. We enjoyed walking along the streets and the alleyways and appreciated that it is not packed with too many tourists. It is a also good base to visit The Valley of the Temples in Argrigento.
The house was one of the best holiday homes that we have had so far. All in all it met our expectations and even exceeded them. Also the contact with the owner, Alessandro, was swift and friendly. The roof top terrace with a magnificent view over the Marina and Sciacca habour was our favourite spot for breakfast and a late, light dinner - and the stairs from the kitchen to the roof top were excellent training :-) The house is situated in a cosy street with more good restaurants in short walking distance.
The house is nice. Our room had a nice balcony to a lemon tree garden. There was room service.
Breakfast was diverse and good, including capuccino (or other hot beverage), fruit juice, cornetos with different fillings and sandwiches.it's not identical every day.
Location is great, but if you do not like steps (don't go to Sciacca or Agrigento), you need to take a greater turn I think.
Fulvio is very concerned about your wellbeing and can give you tips on car rental.
Thé view over the port was fantastic. We much enjoyed having a balcony and watching the fishing boats come in and go out. The room was simply furnished but the bed was very comfortable and the fridge was useful. The restaurant associated with the hotel is good and guests receive a discount. The hotel is well situated in Sciacca for other restaurants, shops and sightseeing, and there’s usually no problem finding street parking nearby. The staff were very helpful.
A beautifully presented small hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower. You can park for free on the street outside. The hotel has a private car park if you prefer. The staff were remarkable for their welcome and service, probably up there with our best experience ever. Breakfast is a buffet with plentiful choice. The Hotel is a flat walk to the main square and shops.
The host brewed my cappuccino & added steamed milk. Served it with a smile on her face & on the foamed milk. Assortment of pastries, cold cuts, juice, water, cereal, yogurt, rolls… The security of having the host on site (24/7). Convenient location, off a Main Street. The room was cozy.
The host couldn’t get me a taxi to the bus terminal.
She drove me herself. The host is lovely, caring & compassionate about her guests & Sciacca.
The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The beach is only 15 minutes drive so for us the ideal spot.
The house is great with lots of space. You can quickly drive to the port to buy fresh seafood and prepare it in the house. The surrounding area gives tranquility.
Desiree from Wonderful Italy gives top notch service so a big thank you. She really did everything to make us feel welcome.
It's a roomy, bright, and brand new apartment in a cute town. Keyless entry very convenient. They had left on the A/C for me, so that when I arrived it was nice and cool--now that's good service! It was a little tricky to find the house, as the laneway curves, but don't worry, it's there. This was a last-minute stop, and I'm really glad I came because Sciacca is very nice. I could easily have stayed a little longer.
Excellent hotel with excellent service, I highly recommend them to everyone who wants to enjoy their stay in Sciacca. Mattresses are very comfortable as well! The rooms are always clean and the staff is very welcoming and inviting. This is the second time I'm staying there and both experiences were excellent so it's time I write a review and let everyone know!
A nice boutique hotel a few steps away from the historical center.
The room was quite confortable with all you could wish for.
A special thank you to the staff who is very helpful indeed and quite welcoming😊
Very much appreciated were the cleanliness, the lighting in the room and the comfy bed!
Welcoming and a comfortable stay. It’s position was not in the main area of Sciacca so was lovely and quiet but still with beautiful ocean view. A great spot to be able to explore other areas of Sicily. You do need a car to get around.
The room felt like a proper home. It‘s incredibly clean and modern, which I feel like, you don‘t find a lot for that price. In addition, as a solo traveler I felt extremely safe (also not a given in sicily). Would recommend :)
A good option for frugal travelers exploring western Sicily. Within an hour's drive most of the highlights of western Sicily can be reached. Having a kitchen makes it possible to avoid the high cost of restaurants.
Giovanni was a lovely host. He not only brought us breakfast from the best Café in Sciacca but also gave us a tour of the city and a ride to the bus station. Thanks again, Giovanni, for this really nice experience!
Francesca, the receptionist was amazing. Very serviceable and went above and beyond turning our stay into a pleasure experience. We highly recommend this hotel for his comfort, cleanliness and comfort.
