Room was really nice and well-located between center of the town and the beach. Only drawback is that the street was quite busy and noisy. The bed was ok but not great. Personnel was only available if needed, but flexible. I appreciated it very much that I could use a bike without extra cost.

Avola is a pleasant town.
Avola is a pleasant town. There is plenty to see near by that can be reached by bus or car, Syracuse and Noto being the highlights. We hired a small boat from the harbour with a skipper and had the most a fabulous day out!FayUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Avola is a great city for food and culture. The people of Avola are very nice and helpful. Avola is within minutes of the town of Noto and other cities as well as other destinations such as Marzamemi and Pachino.

Avola is a nice town near the sea: famous for its almonds, honey and wine, it has some baroque feeling to it, though not as much as Scicli for instance. It is a near-perfect base to visit Syracusae, the beaches of Noto or the town of Modica: all within reach from 20 minutes to 1 hour, but it can also be a relaxing place in itself. A recommendation would be to visit "Bar Pasticceria Mangiafico" in town, that since 1972 delivers quality in pastries and sicilian street food! On the side of warnings, it needs to be said that the old town has very narrow roads, and getting around by car requires some driving skills.

In future I would stay in Noto or another city in Sicily Avola seems like a ghost town in peak summer times No good restaurants, no bars and nothing seems to be happening. All the shops seemed closed once you got off the beach. Luckily I had a car so I could drive to neighbouring cities

Avola isn't the prettiest town, though it does have its nice parts, but it is the perfect base to explore south east Sicily. The beaches are decent, there are plenty of nice places to eat and the access is good.WWillUnited Kingdom

They went above and beyond - even greeting us with delicious pastries and espresso when we arrived. The room was huge and extremely clean. They served a lovely breakfast including eggs at my request. The town of Avola is wonderful with a beautiful beach and nice restaurants and bars. The location of the B and B is very central and convenient to everything, including an Aldi to buy groceries and snacks. I highly recommend this B and B and hope to come back someday!!!

The hydrotherapy shower was wonderful as well! Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. There's a lovely sandy beach opposite, with a brilliant beach bar serving coffees, cocktails and lunches. There was also a lifeguard on duty. Avola was a pleasant location. Not too touristy but enough bars and restaurants to offer some choice. Perfect and safe place when you are visiting with kids. Separate parking area. Possibility to use grill. There is a pond with fishes but good fenced so it's safe for children. Everything clean and neat. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Lucia is very friendly and helpful. Avola was a perfect spot for our travels as it is easy to travel to other towns such as Noto, Ragusa, Modica by car. We totally recommend to others, including families with young children.
