The room was very spacious and clean. The host very kind. The grounds could use some gardening work and I would pave a path that leads to the entrance. We were there in rainy days and the parking area and short way to the entrance were very muddy and slippery. Our room was impeccable, however the breakfast and check in area had a moldy smell. I know that houses in the countryside can encounter this problem during rainy days due to increased humidity, however I think that some improvement in term of isolating the walls could be done to reduce the odor. Also a bigger sign would help. Other than that, I really liked the rustic atmosphere and room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom.

Stayed at this apartment and couldn't have been happier! It was impeccably clean and comfortable with all amenities provided. The location is perfect, with a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, and frequent buses to Florence. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. Special shoutout to our host, Duccio, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL!
View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

If you're in search of a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Florence, Fiesole is the perfect destination.

We did not see much of Fiesole because our stay was short and we were focused on Florence but we would really like to have visited the Roman ruins of Fiesole. The part of town that we stayed in has a nice piazza with a restaurant, an ice-cream parlor and a really yummy food truck. It is really well connected to Florence (a cheap bus takes you to the city in 20 min. and it comes every 15 so it is really convenient). The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the whole valley with Florence in the middle. We also saw the post office and a grocery store around there. It is really a pleasant town with a lot to offer.

Quaint little town on the hill above Florence, easily accesable by bus from the centre of Florence. There are few restaurants and cafe's in the centre and also a historic centre with Roman ruins and a museum. We had 3 nights tehre, but could have easily stayd more, as the vibe of the small time is great and if you get bored you can easily go to Florence and back.

Fiesole is a beautiful vibrant village in the hills above Florence. Wonderful views back towards the city. Fascinating history to explore. The perfect place to stay out of the hustle of the city and only a 20 odd minute bus trip away. Lots of great bars and restaurants. A well stocked small supermarket. We love Fiesole.

Deliberately booked fiesole as didn't want the chaos of florence centre. However, there is a number 7 bus that goes back and forth 1.50 euro takes about 22 mins and very frequent.I believe would get a better class hotel in centre and yes same price or less .The walks are tiring around fiesole but views worth it. we were lucky sun was shining each day. some amazing sunsets about 7pm.Little cake shop towards bottom hill ALCEDO cheapest coffee to go and amazing cakes.Coop sells all need to make picnics as food is very costly
What a gem this place is! It is so quiet and has a real Tuscany vibe yet so close to Florence( bus 7 was very handy). The place is sparkling clean and the host went above and beyond to take care of our needs.
She checked us in the after hours when we were delayed because of a missing luggage. She gave us her personal phone number and was only a text away responding to every need we had. Room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. AC was running great.
I will miss the abundant breakfast and the cappuccinos.
The host Marianna was wonderful. So friendly and welcoming, she helped us with a recommendation for a restaurant overlooking Florence and it was lovely. It is a perfect location to visit Florence and the surrounding countryside. The town of Fiesole is nearby and is beautiful with a charming atmosphere. The room was perfect for our needs and we had a simple but tasty breakfast with a home made tart cooked fresh that morning. Thank you :)
The room was lovely and extremely comfortable. It is perfectly located and very easy to catch a bus into Florence to spend the day, as the bus stop is located immediately outside the hotel. In addition, you must have the breakfast too! Lovely choice of fresh fruit, cereals, etc. I would also say it was lovely to return to and chill after a long day of site seeing.
Lovely place. We got the room from the street side, but the window was perfect, so we were not able to hear anything. Great breakfast with a lovely staff member. We had a great chat about Italy, culture, etc. Great coffee and great food. We were able to leave our luggage and go for a walk the next day, so that was very nice of the team to let us do it :)
The location is absolutely beautiful and relaxing, with an amazing view from high of the gorgeous landscape. It is a great respite from the busy streets of Florence. Ms. Alida herself is a lovely host! She explained everything in Italian and English and was warm and welcoming. We had two rooms and a bathroom, all were very clean, pretty, and comfortable.
Large room with a desk, generous size bath, there was space around the sink, walk in shower with soap holder, toiletries. There were large bottles of water and a snack on our pillows. Large open area with shelves for closet. Air condition worked. Hosts were very friendly, outgoing and helpful.
Close drive to take bus into Florence.
We received a very warm, welcoming and homey stay! Amazing! Got so many good suggestions and help. Could also lend family bicycles, which made the journey to Florence very nice and easy. Breakfast according to your wishes and preferences, delicious!
Very quiet neighborhood. Nice to walk by the river.
It’s everything you could possibly dream of for a farm stay in Tuscany. The hospitality of the host, the home prepared breakfast and the entire property and views were exceptional. We were exploring Italy by car. I would highly recommend a car for this area.
The location is a short ride from Florence but you truly feel you are in another place. The countryside is gorgeous and there are nice restaurants close to the hotel. Lots of walking trails and sites to see. Breakfast is continental but generous.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location in the hills overlooking Florence. Friendly staff who gave us great recommendation for dinner in the village. Was too cold for the swimming pool during our visit so that will have to wait until next time!
The room , grounds , breakfast, really everything!
Sylvia and Erick are amazing hosts. All organic products are used! The location is close to Florence. This is a magical place!
