a nice town with an old part behind the walls. lots of greenery, parking lots and bars, walking paths and restaurants.During the day, we walked around Okpliška, in the evening we came to the city for dinner and to the accommodation to rest. we ate at pizzeria Rosso vivo. I have never had a better pizza, the price was not too high either. The food at La Torretta was also very tasty.

Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town with great restaurants, little streets and beautiful architecture. It's a great gateway to many other local towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano among many others. There are thermal sources nearby such as San Filippo and great hikes such as la Foce. Florence is a 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic.

Charming local town with some good bars and restaurants. A great base away from the tourists hot spots but an excellent location to visit those attractions whilst experiencing life in a real local Tuscan town.

The museum is amazing!!!
The museum is amazing!!! We were hoping to visit a thermal pool but the one
we went to (Theia) had so many rules and was so expensive for the amount of time we wanted to stay that we left. (The staff there could have been friendlier.) It’s probably better to go if you have several hours to spend. Also, as Americans from Montana, it was stressful and confusing trying to figure out rules for parking. Chianciano is nicely situated for day drives to other beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria.

The reviewers should estimate positively the items that are not advertised in the hotel offer at booking.com, ie some "value added" items, and for us it is balcony and the ceiling ventilator... and also I think that the room size had more (even without balcony) than just 16 square metres as advertised at booking.com.
I spoke a little Italian so the landlord Gianny and I could understand each other...however either his wife or his son were always in the vicinity so they could also translate...
Breakfast was from 8am but Gianni kindly offered us to have it from 7:30am if we wished so...
He often weared the mask, and always did at our breakfast so he really kept the anti-covid measures.
I don't like estimating location because the guests themselves can choose BEFORE THE RESERVATION if it is "far from the centre/beach/bus station/..." so I find stupid to say in reviews that it was "too far"...

Chianciano, as a city, looked pretty deserted, like a tornado went through. Covid probably affected the tourism in the area. Nobody is investing in jotels too much. However, for Terme, I like that it was clean, the made cleaned up every day, and the breakfast was decent (compared to Alexander Palme which is awful). Parking is available around the hotel and the staff in general was friendly. I did not use the spa, but I heard people having fun in the evening. It has a restaurant, which is convenient since most things are closed in Chianciano.
Excellent boutique hotel, fabulous service from Cristina and her team. They went above and beyond to cater to the gluten free request and Cristina suggested a perfect itinerary for us each day. Breakfast and coffee was good, bed was comfy. There are many surrounding landmarks and towns and villages that we drove to. The garden view room was worth the extra and the rooftop hot tub was an added bonus! There is a fabulous looking gelato shop up the road which was open until late but we didn’t get to try.
We had the most amazing 4 days at Agriturismo Humile. The hosting family is lovely and treats you not only as a guest but also as a friend! The apartments are spacious and the furnishing of the apartments is great. We loved the pool and surrounding landscape is magical. The most amazing part is the breakfast. Andrea, Tomasso and Rosanna share all their great products and they only have local food! We can 100 percent recommend this exceptional Agriturismo!
The hotel has 2 swimming pools. One on the last floor and one 2km away from the hotel that is simply magnificent. The size of the pool 2km away is large, quiet, clean, with showers and changing rooms (separate for men and women). The view of the hills is outstanding. The location of the hotel is strategic if you wanna visit Montepulciano(15 min by car) or Montalcino (45 min). Staff and owners were all very kind and friendly.
Good value for money.
Great location. Clean and spacious rooms with good breakfast. Fabulous view from our room and great scenery to wake up to. Free parking on the spot. Very helpful staff with great instructions where to visit and what to do in the area. Do not miss trying the thermal pools about km far from the hotel.
Renata met us at the property. Let us check in early. Very friendly host. She gave us a lot of information on where to visit, and special events in town. She also brought us pastries every day. Thank you Renata!
The hotel is really very nice, clean and well situated. The personal is very helpful (it looks like it’s a family run business).
We had standard rooms, with breakfast included. We would recommend this hotel.
SPA and solarium were very new and had everything a SPA should have. Rooms were very beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We had both a shower and a bathtub. The room had a small fridge. Very nice.
The location is a good point of interest if you want to visit Montepulciano and surroundings. The hotel was clean, a bit too old for our taste but the staff was very kind and helpful.
I highly highly recommend this place. Actually I have already to my friends. They also reach out to me because the pictures I post are and were so beautiful. And I trust this place.
very good value for money. Staff very professional. Clean, quiet location, very good food. To recommend for a stay in Chianciano terme. The restaurant of the hotel is also very good.
The venue is a wonderful old cottage and the room are spacious. Wonderful view of Chianciano. The hotel is very clean and the room was always clean and in perfect order.
Great hotel, everything that was needed. Lovely breakfast. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Lovely view from the room. Great location to explore the area.
Very clean and comfortable, great breakfast and Andrea was just the kindest person ever to manage a hotel. The location is also very good. Recommended! 😊
