The Hotel Borgia di Ciaula exceeded my expectations in every way. Its ideal location offered easy access to the beach, charming cafes and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

lovely little town but a bit grubby in places & quite noisy near to the port where our accommodation was. Within walking distance of the station which is how we arrived. We were reccommended a great little take away pizzeria by the host which the locals use & it was a couple of minutes walk away.

Santa Flavia is very good for those who want to escape from busy tourist attractions and sites, resorts. It was a good chance to experience how locals live their lives in Sicily. There were no turists here. You can get to the capital by train easily.
Unfortunatelly streets are dirty and there is a big contrast between their garbage recycling laws in the properties and the dirt in the street , at the sea.

Not a holiday destination, but a good base for exploring surrounding areas. Restaurants in Porticello port were nice. Definitely need a car to get around although the train service is excellent. Feel like you are staying in a neighbourhood rather than a tourist destination.

House is in a fantastic location with the most spectacular views of the ocean and the cape, very comfortable with all the amenities you could imagine. New bathrooms and a very well stocked kitchen for the budding chef, there are a few restaurants within easy walking distance. Direct access to the wonderful beach, very clean, pebbles but easy on the feet. Don’t hesitate to book.

Whilst I enjoyed my Sicilian holiday that was largely as a result of visits to Etna and Villa Romana del Casale. The island was amongst the dirtiest places I have every visited - and I have been to over 90 countries. Streets were awash with rubbish and every layby contained a mattress, settee or bags of rubbish. The standard of driving on the island is abysmal, and dangerous. The mosquitos were ferocious. I will not be returning

Santa Flavia is not a touristic place, there is only one ice cream shop and it closes at 8 pm. Everything around is dirty, you need a half hour walk to the beach, which you can only describe as disaster. Its also dirty like everything alse. Once again, dont go there its not for recommodation.

The breakfast at the Dolce Vito Cafe was excellent.
The room was completely private; it had its own entrance and patio. There was use of a shared kitchen if we wanted it. There was always plenty of hot water for showers. The owner gave us suggestions as to where to visit and which restaurants were walkable.
The proximity to the railway station in Santa Flavia is brilliant…it gives the best route into Palermo city without having to negotiate the traffic!
We would certainly stay here again.
There was a very friendly approach of the personal -especially Ignace at the restaurant and Danielle , allways very visible and reaching out to us many times are warm and professional people , helping in a personal way where ever they could. We were at the “ pink house “ , a little apart from the hotel . we loved the view , the rest , the privacy , the atmosfeer .And …the wifi was perfect.
kind welcoming staff and delicious breakfast every morning. you are an 8 minute walk from a good restaurant open for all meals and snacks, about 10 minute drive to other great places in Santa Flavia area. So relaxing-we felt at home. Visit Santa Elia for the steps to the sea and Capo Zafferano for the most beautiful meadow, coves, and sea views
Well maintained property, Vincenzo the host was very responsive and the villa had everything you need. The large terrace had spectacular sea and mountain views. Location was perfect and allowed for easy access to Palermo, Cefalu and some of the smaller towns along ss113. Highly recommend this place.
Very kind owners, a lot of help from Marida (owner), very beautiful garden and swimming pool, nice apartment, good food service, possibility of using taxi, nice places to go not very far away (Cefalú, Palermo, Mondello, Monreale) , cute animals (dog of the owners and cats :).
Amazing pools and seaside location. Facilities were great. Food a breakfast and dinner were good and you get a bottle of water and wine on the table a dinner which was a nice touch. This hotel is very Italian so don’t go there if you are looking for Britain abroad.
The property was conveniently located, with long but manageable walks to all of Santa Flavia/Porticello/Sant'Elia and also to Bagheria/Aspra/Mongerbino. Maria and Paolo were very efficient and organized, and sent lots of links to amenities and services in the area
We were thinking about staying in Palermo but are happy we stayed here instead and got a rental car. Amazing hosts, this was truly a great find. Room was nice, clean, and we had our own private patio. Pool was nice to cool off in and escape the heat.
Super comfortable bedroom, good temperature, clean, well kept hotel, very welcoming, nicely styled. Located nearby archeological area, connected to the bigger town Bagheria. Staff were super friendly and helpful for visiting information.
The apartment is exactly as described: clean, quiet and the view from the terrace is wonderful. Carla was very nice and responsive. The location is ideal for discovering Palermo by car. The restaurant next door is very good, try it!
This is a beautiful bed and breakfast hosted by lovely people and located near the water and a few minutes drive to excellent restaurants. Palermo was about a half an hour away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This is a lovely b&b in the quaint little town of Sant Elia. Easy drive or train to Palermo. Our room was wonderful, with a view of the sea. Very good breakfast. Hosts Nicola & Pietro were great.
The most beautiful garden I've ever seen (exotic trees, palmas, stone decoration)
The sea view is spectacular
Nice breakfast with some Sicilian specialities.
Good location close to Palermo
Wonderful quiet place to stay outside Santa Flavia and Bagheria and near Palermo. Suites were very well appointed and the pool was great. Marida was a perfect host and very helpful.
The location, as it is easy to reach many different destinations from Santa Flavia. The bnb is at a walking distance from the closest beach. The staff has been very kind and helpful
