This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable.
This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable. The 2 bedrooms are spaced widely apart for ultimate privacy. The decor and facilities are top notch. This owner did an outstanding renovation compared to so many that I have seen where the original home was "butchered" to save money. The rooftop terrace is lovely and we had a neighborhood cat who traversed the rooftops to visit up every morning. He didn't get close, just kept an eye out for treats. We didn't do any cooking because there are hundreds of lovely restaurants that we wanted to try, but the kitchen appeared to be completely equipped.

Martina Franc combines beauty and cleanliness with many of the services of a large city. The restaurants are very good. The cafes on the square are a great place to enjoy coffee and pastry while people watching. The people are friendly and helpful. My Italian is not good but if the person I was speaking to didn't understand me they found someone that did speak English.

Martina Franca is a charming town, not overly touristed, with many restaurants and bars. We especially like Muscato Bar for our morning coffee and cornetto and also for afternoon apertivi; Culo e Camicia makes fantastic pizza; fried pizza appetizer, and any pasta with with the homemade tomato sauce at Ristorante Garibaldi is THE BEST! The people of Martina Franca are friendly; many speak some English. It is a great base for exploring Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Taranto, and Grotto di Castellana.

I loved how clean it was and the secured parking and how close it was to old town Martina Franca. I also liked that it was a Trulli home . The host helped me so much in planning my travels while driving.

Martina Franca is a beautiful town, probably a little overlooked by a lot of visitors because of its close proximity to Locorotondo, Aberobello and Cisternino, though it also offers a great base to visit them from. The town has some fantastic architecture along its streets, particularly in the old town and the piazzas are great locations for admiring the buildings and a bit of relaxation. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and with less tourists around you can really immerse yourself in the Italian culture and way of life.

Martina Franca is an understated and not always well...
Martina Franca is an understated and not always well explored city, but worth a lot if consideration as a place to explore the region, it is a magical Baroque small city, divided into old and new ,and both worth time , esp the old section , beautiful squares, a magnificent Cathedral, where if you are lucky you my see a typical and exciting Italian wedding taking place any day of the week , so many restaurants, of all manner of food, amazing valley views of the Valle of idris and proximity to many well known and much visited villages such a Alberbello
Don’t miss this beautiful place , stay afew dys and be surprised
The size of the room is great. Breakfast is fantastic. Also the restaurant for dinner is very good quality of the food. Authentic Trulli buildings created a nice athmoshere. But needs some renovation in the restaurant and the rooms. They have fantastic cheeses (one of the best in Italy). Very close to Martina Franca. Due to timing, we did not possibility to use swimming pool but one of the biggest that I saw in an accomodation place.
Amazing house: a real trulli with all the comfort: two big bedrooms with doors :) , a really nice kitchen open on the living room. A nice living room where my kids played a lot. A cosy bathroom with door. And a very quiet house in the country field. We visited all Puglia from the house: 1h max from any place to visit. It was just great. My kids liked the trulli sooo much !
This is a beautiful home with an amazing view and everything you need for a fabulous stay in the Puglia region. Close to all the towns you have to visit, Alberobello, Martina Franca, and little more than an hour to Matera. You can still be back in time to cook and enjoy all your local finds. Kevin was the most caring and gracious host.
This is a wonderful little apartment located just outside the main city in a nice residential area. It’s perfect for a couple or family especially if you have a car. There is a fridge as well a large cook top making it easy for making your own meals. It’s easy access to all the wonderful towns of Puglia. Plus they have the cutest dog.
an excellent modest kitchen, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with a superb maitre d', who may make the best cappuccino in Italy, and grounds (a small park, fitted with chairs and tables under the trees) that are a delight for reading, resting, working, or chatting with friends. Convenient for every part of town, and the festival.
All in all a very pleasant stay. The hotel is situated in a calm area with good possibilities to explore the old town of Martina Franca. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The poolarea very very nice. Beautiful garden surrounding the hotel and good breakfast. I would stay there again, for sure.
The stay was amazing in a very picturesque part of Puglia with Trullo all around. The accommodation was great with all the bedding, towels and equipment needed for a family stay over a week. Antonietta was an amazing host who was there when we needed with what we needed.
Villa Messerá is the perfect get away. The sound of the wind, bird song & silence. Great outdoor space with a full kitchen, eating space, hammock & pool. Alessandra is a gracious hostess who greeted us with homemade foccacia & breakfast foods. We will definitely be back!
Very cozy apartment in the heart of Martina Franca. The owner was super nice, very helpful and gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area. The apartment itself was super clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
The quiet isolation yet close proximity to Martina Franca was perfect. It was well appointed for cooking and the laundry was needed after 12 days on the road. The private pool was also a plus for relaxing after a hot day.
This is a beautiful place right outside of Martina Franca. The hosts were very welcoming, and did their outmost to make our stay a pleasant stay. The room is spacey and from the room you have your own private terrace.
A great opportunity to experience a unique form of accomodation & a farm stay. It is well located for day visits to smaller towns & places in the Puglia area. Georgio & his parents were very helpful & accommodating.
Very nice and large rooms with private bathroom. Big open space living room and kitchen and big outdoor patio. Comfortable for groups or large families. Good privacy but very close to Martina Franca centre.
very nice villa, a lot of rooms/outdoor spaces, very clean, all 3 bedrooms were nice and clean, comfortable beds, enough cookware for the simple cooking, highly recommended!
Apartment in the beautiful Centro Storico of Martina Franca in a traditional house. The host friendly and kind. Very clean. Wifi excellent for streaming.
