Breakfast in the buffet was delicious. But the service by the waiters was not the best. The staff of the reception was amazing, very friendly and helpful. They also have a shower you can use after your check-out in case you want to go to the beach and get the most out of your day.
What you will probably enjoy more while at Hotel Nike are the amazing views of Taormina's Greek-Roman theatre and of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.

Very nice hotel. Receptionist was the nicest person, thank you! Lava rocks were instead of regular beach, but impressive. Old building with antiques around, vintage furniture and so on. Breakfast was excellent, everything you need, blood orange fresh juice was mouth watering, eggs, salami, cheese and of course sweet Italian pastries. Quite place with stunning views!

This is an outstanding location if one wants to be near the sea, very close to Taormina, yet at reasonable cost and not overcrowded compared to Taormina itself. Taormina is a beautiful and captivating experience, yet it is very crowded even in May, so Giardini Naxos provides relief from the crowds yet is just minutes away, at least earlier in the season.
A long promenade along the sea extending from Isola Bella at the foot of Taormina all the way to the beaches of Giardini Naxos makes for a welcome opportunity to stretch ones legs. Highly recommended for its more down to earth hotel prices, warmth of the local population and its many seafront restaurants

I loved everything about this flat. Comfortable and big.
I loved everything about this flat. Comfortable and big. Strong WiFi. Nice high ceilings. Wonderful host.
But the surroundings are just absolutely stunning. So wonderful to wake up in the morning and have a cup of coffee on the terrace with a view of the Etna and trees all around. And then to walk up to the village and being greeted by the horses and cats.
Very, very much recommended!

We used it as a cheap place to stay after spending the day in Taormina. This worked relatively well, there is a bus from the nearby train station that takes you to Taormina. Taormina is a very beautiful but very expensive tourist resort, so Giardini Naxos is a cheaper alternative. We were there off season so most of the restaurants were closed, but we found one that was open, which was within walking distance.

Giardini Naxos means beach, sun and short trips.
Giardini Naxos means beach, sun and short trips. It is an excellent resort. It is close to a lot attractions, with accessible beaches, a typical resort with a cute center with colorful buildings, with many accommodation facilities, numerous restaurants and cafes, from which you can choose. It would be ideal to rent a car to be able to explore the very spectacular surroundings: Castelmola, Isola Bella, Taormina, Etna, Acireale, Catania, Syracuse, Ortygia.

Picturesque beach resort with nice views over the bay and up...
Picturesque beach resort with nice views over the bay and up to Taormina and Castelmola. Plenty of choices of beach clubs on the sea front. There were a couple of spots on the beach where you could sit for free but we preferred to pay €15-€20 for the added comfort of loungers and an umbrella in the beach clubs. Our favourite was Lido La Romantica as we thought their food and bar offering was the best. Lido Di Naxos is great for kids though as there is a good playground, which our toddler loved.
There were plenty of restaurants lining the seafront and a couple of bars for aperitifs. Our favourite bar was C'era cu C'era. Very refreshing limoncello spritz with generous measures!
We had a relaxing week, but there isn't an awful lot to see or do, so I think we may have been a little bored, had we stayed longer. We had stayed in Taormina the previous week and there's plenty to see and explore, there. It's only 20 minutes on the bus so I would recommend at least a day trip there if you are staying in Naxos.

Allows one to enjoy sea and sun bath on the beach and also visit beautiful Taormina, which can be easily reached by bus. Accommodation is more affordable than in Taormina and you are only 15-20 minutes away.
Definitely the best of our stays in Sicily this year. Great, welcoming host, absolutely fantastic breakfast and what a garden on the roof! Room very spacious with blooming terrace, bathroom well maintained and properly cleaned. Beachfront about 15 min walk away (on safe streets pavements, that's not always given in Sicily), and not very far to Taromina if you're looking to visit. Would recommend.
Small family hotel with very nice hosts. Peace and quiet. Amazing view of Taormina from the room with balcony. Much wider variety of food for breakfast than you would expect in Italy/of course this is Sicily and not Italy as the islanders like to say it/. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The lobby, restaurant, corridors seem to have been freshly redecorated in a lovely pale blue.
The sea view is just amazing, the best we have had ever. Also, Naxos is a very good and strategic location to stay, close to Etna and Taormina but without all the tourists crowds. The beach in Giardini Naxos is definitely nicer, larger and more comfortable than in Taormina. And last, but not least, the host (Mario) gave us a five star service, the best we have ever had.
My favourite stay on Sicily, and for sure the best breakfast we got on the trip! Loved the coffee and Maria and her staff were all wonderful. The room had a balcony wonderful ocean view.
A bit of a hike to the city centre but very close to the beach. I would recommend having a car or taking the bus. The busstop is right outside so its not inconvenient.
The hotel is near to the beach, rooms are extremely clean, there is a coffee machine in the room and it was really nice and helpful. The receptionist are friendly and polite people. Last day even we chech out the room at 10 am.they gave us another room for taking a shower. Really fabulous hotel. We will come back again for sure 😊
Definitely our best stay in Sicily! A calm place surrounded by lemon trees perfect for the relaxation. Breathtaking Etna view from the garden and balcony. Finally, Davide is the best host! Provided all we needed and prepared a great evening serving delicious home made pizza. This is a must stay if you are on the east coast.
For breakfast the omelette and the coffee are very good. Maria Paola, Italo and Tango are extraordinary hosts and make you feel at home. Very close to the sandy beach of Naxos (approx. 5 min on foot) and bus stop approx. 3 min. Maria Paola gave us information and suggestions about places and attractions in the area.
Everything was just perfect. We liked the sizes of the rooms, sea views, hotel facilities, parking, hotel beach, cleanliness, breakfast, and position of the hotel. The staff were very kind. Roberta from the reception desk was very competent and helpful. We highly recommend and will definitely return back.
The reception staff were excellent, really friendly and really helpful. The rooms are big and beds are very large and comfortable. Restaurants start about 5 min walk away from the hotel and the shops about 10 min. Despite that the hotel is in a really quiet location, so you get the best of both worlds.
I liked the location, the fact that there was a bus station with direct connection to Taormina just outside the hotel. The size of the room was good, the bathroom was cleaned, the host was very helpful. There were even sandwiches and water supplied everyday. The b&b is one minute from the beach.
Beach, grocery store (Deco) restaurants, inexpensive shopping all in close proximity. Nicely appointed, modern appliances, nice art decor, a sliver of harbor to view between front row apartments. Reasonable parking on street, clothesline off a sunny balcony.
The highlight of the property was the receptionist! It was our second night in Sicily and she was just wonderful! she helped us with a taxi to Taomira, let us stay a bit longer and even upgraded us to a better room! The view!
Everything! Very thoughtfully prepared, with all we could have wanted. The location was unbeatable and the attentive host was kind and helpful.
The best place I've stayed in, in Sicily.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was good. The location is great, right on the beach and near restaurants and the hotel and facilities are new and in good condition.
A beautifully maintained family run hotel with exceptional service from all of the staff. Located in a quiet area of Giardini Naxos but within easy reach of the resort and beach.
