If you want to see a slice of the real Sicily, this is the place to be. You don't meet such warm and hospitable people very often. Great breakfast with local produce and lovely coffee or cappuccino. I advise you to order dinner cooked by the host himself, a professional chef. It's delicious. Homemade wine from the barrel, dessert and much more.
Offering a garden with BBQ facilities, free WiFi throughout and a terrace, AgriTrinacria Rooms is in the countryside around Piazza Amerina on Sicily Island.

A great location, although out of Piazza Armerina it was very close to the Roman Villa. The room was clean and comfortable, the hosts super friendly and helpful, the meals and wine I had there at extra cost were good and reasonably priced. A very relaxed atmosphere and bicycle friendly.

Amazing, beautiful house with so much history. Waking up, with the sun on your face, smelling the fresh flowers, being greeted by the dog, cat and sometimes chicken was truly amazing. The staff is also very helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Piazza Armerina, Italy, is best navigated on foot due to its compact size. For longer distances, the local bus service, operated by AST, is reliable and covers the town extensively. Cycling is also an option, with bike rentals available. Driving is possible, but parking can be challenging in the town centre.
The historic centre of Piazza Armerina, with its medieval architecture and proximity to the Roman Villa del Casale, is the most popular and convenient area for visitors to stay.

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere.
(Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)

The room is in big private house on a hill overlooking Piazza Armerina. It is easy to reach the house from the main road and also to get to the center of the town. Magnificent view of the town. Great breakfast in a the large dining room with fine old furniture and a big table with a lot of food. Large windows to the view of the town and large balcony. Guests eat together in a familiar atmosphere. Luciano is a very friendly host . Parking is in the garden of the house or just near the gate - safe place. I recommend this place.
It was an unforgettable stay in Armerina. La Casetta is romantic accommodation right in the heart of the historic city. We fully recommend stay at this cozy house, walk through the night streets, discover the hidden treasures of the city and just enjoy the Genius loci of this place. Thanks Massimo for a warm welcome and useful tips for visiting the city and other places in Sicily (In English - what is not so common on the island). I would sum it up in one word - just LOVELY ❤️
It was a perfect oasis in the backstreets of this truly Sicilian town. The B&B is beautifully decorated and our rooms were well laid out and sparkling clean. Our host was charming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade options. Piazza Armerina is perfectly located for a stopover after visiting the mosaics at the Villa Romana del Casale and Giardino delle Zagare is one of those unexpected delights what we will remember for years.
The room was large and clean and was a throwback to the 1960's even though the building itself was hundreds of years old. The room had a terrace opeining on the pizza and we could watch the performance from our room. We came to see Villa Romana del Casale for the extraordinary Roman mosaics and the hotel was only a few miles away. It was a very nice breakfast and the staff was attentive. Wonderful restaurant around the corner.
He's checked out all the bakeries in town and gets fresh, delicious, local recipes for breakfast. He walked with us to find a parking place and helped with the luggage when we were leaving. He spoke English very well. He suggested a wine bar for a drink and a nearby restaurant for dinner, both of which were very good. We were visiting Casale del Romana, and it was a good place to stay.
The owner, Luciano and her daughter Paula showed us the perfect “warm Sicilian” welcome. Having lived in Sicily for almost 7 years now, we can pretty much assessed what is normal and what is a spectacular and what we experience was the latter. The view didn’t disappoint, the food and wine were awesome and the customer service was top notch!
The property is ideally situated near the main Duomo on a quiet side street and is within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and provided us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco when they learned we were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary. And, our room was comfortable and spacious.
Quiet contemporary home with lovely grounds. Comfortable, firm beds. The breakfast! Host permitted us to make sandwich for lunch that was very helpful as restaurants sparse where we traveled that day in the spectacular mountains (San Biagio Plantini). You need small car- will be less limiting. Beautiful grounds!
Hotel is close to the city center (5 min walk). Hotel has a fantastic view towards the beach.
Breakfeast was good.
Parking at the hotel is a challange, entrance is quite small and steep. You have to leave the car keys at the reception, they will park your car.
It's like going from home to home. Situated right in the heart of Piazza Armerina's centro storico. Last but not least is the hospitality of Ettore and his passionate cooking is a unique experience. A rare jewel found in the heart of this lovely old city.
Owners were very hospitable and cooked a delicious spread for dinner and breakfast. Went to the extent of picking us up and dropping us off at the bus station.. Room was fully equipped and huge!!! Highly recommended B&B if you are at Piazza Armerina!!
Giuseppe the owner was a perfect host. A storm caused various problems which he fixed quickly. He drove us into Piazza Armerina and shared his life experiences with us. The restaurant he recommended (Da Toto) was wonderful.
Incredibly friendly, gracious and hospitable hosts, clean and excellently furnished apartment in a brilliant location looking onto Piazza Armerina town from a distance
The rooms were clean and spacious. The views of piazza armerina are great and it is set in a very quiet location. Staff were really helpful and very friendly.
Very nice owner, we had beautiful rooms, great pool in the garden. The city of Piazza Armerina is beautiful, it has its own charm, especially in the evening.
Delightful country house with beautiful grounds, every comfort and such friendly and helpful staff it really felt like staying in a family home not a hotel.
