LA CASA COLORATA was born to let people who travel for work, leisure, tourism or family reasons, feel like at their own home. In 1924 a silversmith built an Art Nouveau building with a bronze workshop: here is a large apartment divided into three independent spaces: RossoDiSera (up to 2 people) Blu Oltremare (up to 5) and GialloLimone (up to 7) are the three spaces, each one with bathroom, full kitchen, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. They have in common only the entrance corridor and the relax area with sauna (hot and dry air bath, with a temperature between 60 and 100° C) and biosauna (sauna with temperature between 50 and 60° C and humidity of 60-70%: halfway between the Finnish sauna and the steam bath). Upon arrival you will find the beds ready, with clean linen, as well as four towels for each guest. The kitchen offers a basic equipment with organic extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coarse salt, fine salt, tea, herbal tea, nespresso capsules, instant coffee, honey, white and brown sugar. Dishwashing detergent, dishwasher and washing machine, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also available, as well as umbrellas for rainy days.

I became a Host exactly for this reason: I love giving so that people feel at ease and welcome. I’ve been in the Scouts for so long that I can really say it is now a part of my DNA. My motto? I’d like to leave the world in a better way than how I found it. I hope you feel at home here, so we have taken care of our home down to the last detail, providing it with every comfort, I hope you'll appreciate it! We love children and we always leave some games and some books available for them. For your pets, who are really welcome, there are two bowls at their disposal in the kitchen. We invite you to take care of our home and how much we provide you neither more nor less than you would do in your home and for any need contact me, I will be glad to help you to make your staying as pleasant as possible!
We are right in the Bocconi University area, so you will always see young people and locals around you, even if our street is always rather quiet! Near us there are several supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pizzerias or clubs for a Milanese aperitif. With a 20/25 minute walk you will be in the heart of Piazza Duomo, in 15 minutes to the Navigli area. We are ten minutes from the Porta Romana stop of the Yellow Subway (M3), which is very convenient for the city center or the Central Train Station. For taxis just call one of the many numbers available. When you arrive at the way home, you can find street parking, but be careful: - on the blue lines you can park for a fee (coupons in the tobacconist or through the Telepass or Easypark app). - Only the residents can park on the yellow stripes, with a special pass, with limits for road washing days. - On the tree-lined sidewalk you can park for several days without problems, but there are few places. - Otherwise, there is a nice parking lot, Vittadini Park, 150 meters from home, which costs 2 euros per hour or 25 euros for 24 hours.
