I loved my stay at this hotel! It is rather basic and a bit old fashion in style but the rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. Breakfast is very good and offer much more than a standard Italian breakfast 🙂 and the manager and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location, away from the crowds and Villalago is a charming town. There is a big free parking for the hotel guests.

The host Antonio was very kind, speaking very good English. The village Villalago is very lovely, with the beautiful San Domenico lake nearby.
The apartment is very cozy and warm with heater, even if it was very cold outside.
What helped us the most was the reservation of the very nice restaurant in the village. We arrived on Monday, I had asked the host for advice for restaurants for the evening(Monday evening is difficult in Italy for finding restaurants). Thanks to the reservation the host made, the staff in the restaurant waited for us, serving us very good and typical Abruzzo food.
We enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Villalago a lot and hope to come back soon.
