You immediately feel at home, the hosts are friendly and welcoming. The futon beds were the most comfortable in our entire Japan trip. Home cooked breakfast and chatting at breakfast was amazing to get to know the hosts and other guests.

This is a traditional Japanese house. We really liked the decor and the variety of equipment. The owner and his wife were very welcoming and friendly and provided us with a delicious breakfast and a transfer from the station. We felt at home here and would definitely visit again! The best hotel I have ever been to. The owners are very friendly and close, they speak english and other languages too! The place is traditional and has view to the beautiful garden, also the stay was very quiet and relaxing. They offered to take us by car to the station and they picked us with 4 huge suitcases even though we were only staying one night. The breakfast was very delicious and they gave us a gift before we left. They have a very cute and friendly dog! Without a doubt we want to return and I would recommend everyone to stay here. It is also very close to Akabane station, near the center of Tokyo.

I am so glad that we booked and stayed with this lovely family for our short stay in Tokyo. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay personal and comfortable. Clear directions on how to travel from the airport, a pick up from the local train station (and drop off again on our departure) were coupled with friendly hospitality and a unique setting of a traditional family home and garden. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city itself, and enjoying the quiet as a nice contrast to our days of sightseeing and enjoying the city itself. Only 30 minutes by train from the main stations. Staying here was the highlight of our stay.
