The simple Japanese-style rooms are heated in winter and include a low table with floor cushions, sliding paper screens and a window-side Western-style seating area. A private toilet is included. Guests bathe at the hot-spring baths and sleep in Japanese futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. A 5-minute walk from Hirayu bus terminal, the ryokan is a 45-minute drive from JR Takayama Train Station and 17 km from Shin Hodaka Ropeway cable car. Kamikochi is a 30-minute bus ride away, while Norikura Kogen is a 60-minute bus ride from the ryokan. Free parking is provided. Skis and luggage can be stored on site, and there is a souvenir shop at the property. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. A set-menu breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room.
