The hotel was better than we expected. We found the staff to be fantastic, especially the front office team. The environment was quite with nice clear, water ponds where you could fish. Very well maintained. Food was very good too. Will be our go to spot when driving to/from Mombasa.

The rooms are with balcony and very big, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also big (which I love) I visited the hotel again on my return trip. The value for money is really good It is really highly recommended

The gardens of Hunter's Lodge are awesome: So many monkeys running around, climbing in the trees, goliath herons close to the pond, a beautifully designed pool area, a spacious room and bathroom, a comfy bed. The staff is very friendly, the food good, English cooked breakfast...Very good value for money.
