Rajith’s sister is an amazing cook - highly recommend the dinner cooked by her. The property has a lovely garden, if you have green fingers! Slightly out of town, but really nice walk back along the lake (I think 20 mins walk from centre?).

An absolutely fantastic home stay in Nuwara Eliya. Rajith and his family are some of the most kindest people we have met. We absolutely loved our stay here. The family was kind enough to let us have dinner in their house, cooked by Rajith’s sister, and it was gorgeous! A must try when visiting this property. Rooms were clean, with a large comfy bed with duvet and pillows. Location is great, only a short walk for the famous Gregory Lake and only a 5 minute drive into town. We took the local bus every day, which was only 50 rupees! Highly recommend this stay in Nuwara Eliya! Thanks to Rajith and his family.

Rajith is an amazing host, always happy to share all the helpful informations and easily reachable by phone when you need him. His place is adorable. Him and his family will make you a beautiful breakfast using the food from their garden. it takes ~45min to get to the city by foot or ~10 by tuktuk which will cost you 2$. Nuwara Eliya is probably the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka, so it is really nice to walk and enjoy the landscapes during the daylight. We would come back anytime!
