We got to stay at the "Man cave". The room is big, well designed and with all facilities you would need (kitchen with microwave, cooking equipment, fridge, coffee maker; bathroom, upstairs bedroom). A lot of thought has been put into the interior design of the room which was very nice to see! The property as a whole has an old school vibe that is very cool!

Tailor's Trail 'gîte d'adventure' Beaufort _ Mullerthal is definitely a very atypical gîte to stay in. The concept of the rooms goes far. There are special staircases to climb up, atypical bathrooms and so on. You share a large wonderful living room with fire place, fully equipped kitchen, office, sauna and garden with any other guests (or you rent the whole house). You are a fan or it may not fit your needs perfectly. Read the descriptions very carefully and look at the pictures. We very much want that choosing Tailor's Trail 'gîte d'adventure' Beaufort _ Mullerthal will give you an exceptional experience. Our house has nothing to do with a standard hotel. Do you doubt whether it fits, please contact us, we tell with pleasure and love the stories behind the choices we made to offer you an unique place. We love to take you on a journey. Be our guest. The main philosophy of Tailors Trail is the idea of meeting people.... ‘imagine all the people' (John Lennon) For this reason you will find a modest cosy private bedroom with shower and toilet. Our 4 private rooms are all decorated with their own theme. The purpose of the room's composition is to give you a feeling of being 'in your own bubble'. For all other activities such as cooking, eating, reading, relaxing, thinking, discussing and so on... you will find very generous common areas. The architecture and interior design is made to find nice places in this generous space (kitchen, dining table, living room, office, extra toilet, living room, sauna garden etc) Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or more details of the room. Our guesthouse has 4 private rooms with bathroom, each with its own theme. In addition, the guests can share the large living room with fire place, fully equipped kitchen, sauna (20 fee per use) and garden. If in doubt, call us for advice on which room is best for you. You can also rent the whole house. Our house is an adventure, an experience in itself. Are you ready for it...? Standaard Double room: STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN into the wild To get to this room "upstairs", the trail continues... You will have to climb the steps of a steep stairs in order to penetrate the crack in the ceiling which refers to the crevices of the typical Mullerthal typology. This room is like a tent, so be aware when you're tall. We do not recommend dogs here, because they can probably not take the stairs. Are you wild enough? OP DER GANN...
 Get disconnected This room refers to the upper spaces of the barns in the region. You will sleep in a niche surrounded by 'yellow wood shavings', reminding us of the summer naps of our childhood in the middle of the hay...See you at the top of the barn! THE FAMILY, cool and the gang There are 2 rooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk beds. The two rooms, which are juxtaposed, allow us to 'be together' while keeping a sense of privacy. MANS CAVE, ...This is a man's world, but it wouldn’t be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl. (James Brown) After the private entrance, you will discover the living space on the ground floor with its kitchenette and its adjoining ... let's say ‘bath cave’ adjacent. You reach your room via a beautiful antique staircase to the upper level which is used as a resting place ... or others according to your convenience; ). But be careful ... "big sister is watching you" ... The materials used for this atypical space are raw concrete, solid wood and traditional limewash. This composition has both: the rustic and neat design gives off a 'manly and masculine' feeling. DO YOU DARE TO STAY WITH US?

Beaufort, the picturesque centre of the Mullerthal, an ideal base camp for excursions in the most beautiful region of Luxembourg, a small village full of charm at the foot of its medieval castle, offering restaurants, bakery, supermarket, cafe, an ice rink, Mullerthal Trail, a swimming pool... The Mullerthal or Mëllerdall region is often referred to as Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. The composition of the rocks and their erosion have created this special atmosphere. The diverse natural and geological heritage makes this region so special. The capital of the Mullerthal Region is Echternach. Echternach is the oldest city in Luxembourg. In 2010, it obtained an inscription in the UNESCO world heritage. WELCOME, be our guest at Tailors Trail. The location of this gîte in the middle of the beautiful Mullerthal, UNESCO World Heritage, makes it extra special. With so many hiking possibilities from the nearby castle (400 meter), there is something for everyone to discover. And nothing is better than relaxing in this house after a day of adventure, whether in the garden in summer or by the fireplace in winter. Enjoying the beauty of Mullerthal all year round is a wonderful and delightful experience! The Mullerthal Trail is about 112 km long and leads through a beautiful undulating landscape. On the way, you will encounter beautiful rock formations with names such as Piteschkummer, Huellee or Geierslee. Let’s go & Explore Luxembourg city is the perfect city break to combine with Luxembourg's nature. But Luxembourg is also worthwhile as a separate city trip: the city is located on hills and has a beautiful balcony. You will also find many historical monuments scattered around the city. All within walking distance. Luxembourg has great gastronomy. There are many restaurants from very local to Michelin stars. For wine lovers, there is a wonderful wine route to drive and visit the wineries. And back to ancient times: the castles route is inspiring.
