Very pleasant town, with green space and parks, safe and relaxing for long walks, especially by the river, and no problems at all with motorbikes (as in Tirana) and stray dogs (as in Durres). Guidebooks that underrate Podgorica are wrong!

The city is not very beautiful, but tourist-friendly.
The city is not very beautiful, but tourist-friendly. It is a good base for trips to other towns. You can get there very conveniently by bus or train. I recommend! There are a lot of green places and lovely corners by the river. The catering facilities are sufficient.

Podgorica is a very beautiful city.
Podgorica
Podgorica is a very beautiful city. It is very clean and organized with regular houses, shops and markets, although it is a small place. People are calm and very friendly.
It was quite a beautiful and special evening with bars on both sides of the main boulevard where people spent time with their loved ones.
I can mention the Munchen bar where we had a delicious dinner.
Another favorite bar in the city center with live music was Hard Rock Cafe.

It is not a big city, transportation is easy, traffic is heavy between 15.00 and 18.00.
The airport, markets and shopping areas are very close to each other.
Maximum 2 hours away from all resorts (Tivat, Budva, Kotor, Bar, Ulcinj).

A City which hase many gears, Some relly awesome places and some others not so.. In general is a very nive city with big problem with the traffic and the parking is impossible. Food is great, People are very nice, the architecture is some areas is very good. In general positive aura for the city!!
Dijana and Borka have made our visit to Montenegro a totally exceptional experience, they are super attentive people and dedicated to their work, they resolved our doubts and were very attentive, super friendly and influential. My friends and I would return to Montenegro even if only to stay again in this nice hotel and share with the workers again. A super clean place, the food in the morning delicious, we could not have had a better experience!
We had a FANTASTIC time here at Alexandra Lux. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect given it is right in the city center of Podgorica. We also went to the hotel spa and had an amazing, relaxing time. Given you book the timeslot you want to attend, the spa is never too crowded and we got to enjoy all the various facilities multiple times. We will definitely come back here.
Petar and his family are so helpful hosts. Transfer from airport is really good option for everybody. Flat situates at the new part of Podgorica and the biggest shopping centre of city, new skyscrapers are so close. At the same time unique part of river Moraca is another neighbour. Wi-fi was one of the best for me ever. I used it almost a week without any problem. I can easily recommend this flat for accomodation.
The location was close from Podgorica airport & easy to find from the main road. As we arrived quite late, very kind hotel owner was waiting for us outside of the accommodation for making sure. Very sweet & caring. And the accommodation was great, spacious, enough facility. We didn't use but there was a pool too which we saw other family were enjoying. When we go back to Podgorica, we definitely stay here again.
The Hotel is excellent! The rooms are quit big and very clean. The breakfast place is awesome, you feel as if you are in a castle, a stony architecture with big tables and great atmosphere!! I will recommend it to all my friends and colleagues upon visiting Podgorica. Furthermore, its situate exactly 5-7 minutes from everywhere in the city, but at the same time is in a very nice and silent neighbourhood
I had a great experience at this hotel in Podgorica. Its central location meant I was surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars, immersing me in the vibrant city atmosphere. Despite an initially peculiar entrance, the interior exceeded my expectations with modern rooms and a helpful staff who promptly resolved any issues. The breakfast provided was also good, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Effective transit hotel, nice room and bathroom, fully stocked mini-bar, very nice breakfast. Excellent location steps to bus station. I flew into Podgorica late, checked in, awoke early and had a quick bite (breakfast starts at 0600am) and on the bus just after 0700. Staff were very welcoming, if not downright charming, both evening and morning and spoke serviceable English.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It's a great place to stop off and explore Podgorica, handy to land transport connections and an easy drive from the airport also. Good value for money and secure off street parking available if you are driving. All Podgorica attractions are walkable from the hotel. Good breakfast spread provided.
The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. The owners Luka and Melissa were very friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful stay in Montenegro. The apartment is walking distance from Podgorica city centre so it was very convenient for us in terms of the location too.
We'll surely be staying again the next time we're in Montenegro.
Great place. Rooms are nice and cozy, the staff are wonderful and they were able to help many requests that I had. There is also an incredible restaurant next store with great food, coffee and service. I didn't have a car (the hotel is close to but not in Podgorica) but there is a train station 5 minutes away to take you into town.
They helped us order a reasonably priced taxi from Podgorica Airport before we landed, which made it convenient to get to the hotel.
When we arrived, they had issues with our room so they sent us to a nearby 5 star hotel (Hotel Ziya) and they helped us pay the difference in price. They paid for our taxi between the hotels too.
Having recently stayed at this new hotel in Podgorica's residential area, I found it to be just a few minutes' drive from the city center. The free on-site parking was convenient, and it truly offers the best value for money. I must highlight the superb breakfast experience as well.
Great room, like in a four-star hotel. Ideal location near the airport. In the same building there's a cafe and a shop when you can buy anything you need for really low prices. I will definitely stay here again if I am back to Podgorica.
Affordable and in a close proximity to the city centre. Staff was friendly and very helpful during check in. Hotel is very fair, not great and not terrible, excellent value for money.
Hotel has in the city center. Has friendly staff and cute hotel with nice art decorations. They also helped us to find rental car. Have nice snack room for breakfast.
Located in city center; good, clean and spacious room. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was superb. In all, I will recommend the hotel without a doubt.
