Hotel San Andrea is situated on the seaside promenade of the Xlendi Bay, just 5 metres from the clear Mediterranean Sea. It offers a genuine restaurant.

I have never seen such a breakfast option in any hotel I have stayed in my life. You can choose any breakfast you want from their à la carte menu, including coffee or tea, and a soft drink. Additionally, 3 types of pastry are delivered to your table depending on the number of people. Our room was really clean and spacious, we were really pleased with everything😇😍❣️
Xlendi is a super fishing village. Great walks and things to look at. The ferry across from Malta is so easy and the whole place is relaxing. Plenty of restaurants to choose from across different budgets, a deli and a take away and a shop.

Xlendi has a great combination of locals and tourists from what I can gather. It is rarely too crowded nor too noisy. The people there were a combination of families with young children, young adults and more mature travellers so it had a little bit of something for everyone. There is a selection of restaurants although they unfortunately serve very comparable food to one another. The water is amazing and the view is great! Lot of spots to swim and enjoy various water activities. The view in this neighbourhood on foot is also incredible. Not too far to get to the rest of Gozo though Uber drivers tend to keep cancelling so you may need to get a taxi via your hotel.

In Gozo 90% of the tourists are british pensionists.
In Gozo 90% of the tourists are british pensionists. Beside 3 or 4 restaurants and the boat/diving service there is nothing. Taxi service is good and quick, not expensive. I most liked the small places at the rocky coast and the cultural sites. I will definitely not travel again to Gozo.

Pretty bay for a swim, nice (if strenuous) cliff walks, small village but lovely to eat/drink there in afternoon or evening, definitely book a table for a weekend evening as everywhere will get full by 9pm. Best to get your own transport, the Go-To hire cars are rarely available in the village and Bolt taxis can be few and far between all over the island (we did a bit of waiting around for one to be available) avoid the white taxis, better to wait for a Bolt to be available

Xlendi has always been our favourite location in Gozo.
Xlendi has always been our favourite location in Gozo. Good restaurants and facilities for our stay. We noticed a number of large apartment blocks being built around the bay and notably ‘Health and safety’ finally caught up with Xlendi..There are now life guards on duty and roped off swimming areas and safety rails on the diving platform along with movement activated street lighting along the waterside walkway.. most would see as positives but for us has taken away the simplistic charm that first attracted us to Xlendi. Still a must visit location
Great apartment to relax by the water. With 2 bedrooms, I really liked that my friend and I could have our own spaces after a day of exploring Gozo. It’s very easy to get to from the bus station and only 10-15min from Victoria. The master bedroom had a very comfortable small couch. I loved laying there with the window open, listening to the day tourists and the waves. Since we went off season, only a few places stayed open late. But there’s lots of restaurants next to the water and a few grocery stores nearby.
Staff is really nice and they have great food in restaurant. Apartment is new and clean. I forgot something of value in the apartment and didn't notice it when I left, and they even sent it to me by post. Thanks again for all your kindness!
Gozo is small so you don't need a car- but station is 1 min away from this hotel. We rented bikes as the island is great for exploring. Most days we climbed in climbing areas, some of which are close to the hotel.
Everything from the warm welcome, lovely pool and beautifully clean hotel. Breakfast was continental or omelettes cooked to order and was everything you would need. Charming hotel which is a real gem with lovely big rooms. If you have mobility issues you may struggle with the hill leading to the property but cud always take a cab. Easy walk to xlendi recommend moby dick restaurant. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Joseph (host) was really friendly and helpful. Often around but responded quickly to messages.
Location was great, uphill (short) walk from town/beach, but not unsurprising for Gozo/Xlendi.
Great to have access to the pool, rarely saw guests in the other apartments.
The terrace in our penthouse as perfect and was so large it meant we didn't really mind the smaller lounge/dining area as we lived out there!
Large apartment, very clean and well furnished. The kitchen is great and allows for easy cooking of any dish you might like, there's also a Hoven for cakes, really nice. The owner is very friendly, I certainly recommend this place and if my usual apartment wont be available next year (We came to Gozo every year.) I will try to book this one :)
The service was amazing, we went for my partner's birthday and the staff helped me prepare a cake in advance and it was waiting in the room when we got there. The hotel looks incredible, as well as the facilities. The pool in the roof is very nice with a bar service also. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
Quality breakfast/fresh foods with optional room service.
Exceptional 5 stars standard for a privately run boutique hotel, friendly staffs, Covid safety protocol and cleaning environment, free parking, great sunset view depends which room you picked (strongly suggested to get one with private patio)
We had short stay of one night, with wonderful sea view balcony. The room was very clean and had all we need it. The breakfast was buffet and had enough food item to have full breakfast at the nice restaurant under the hotel with nice view of the Xlendi beach.
Everything in particular the staff being very helpful and attentionate. Location is amazing with great views on the Xlendi valley. Breakfast is fantastic with everything you can dream about. A must if you are staying 4-5 days in Gozo.
Amazing stay! Great location, super friendly hosts. The atmosphere is so unique. I visited Gozo just because of this apartment and don’t regret do a moment. And as for solo traveling woman, i felt safe there. Highly recommend ☺️
Very nice flat, clean and well equipped, very friendly host.
The flat is perfectly located next to the Xlendi bay and bus stop.
We enjoyed our time there and plan to return next year.
Thank you Alfred.
Very nice, clean and spacious apartment! Owner was very nice and made sure that we understood how to arrive. Mila our dog really enjoyed her stay 🐶❤️ Apartment is exactly like in the photos.
Loved the location and the views from our room as well as the pool. The hotel is new, very clean and the staff is welcoming. I would definitely recommend when staying in Gozo.
The room was clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing and made our stay in Gozo more than enjoyable. I highly recommed this hotel for anyone visiting Gozo, Malta.
St Patrick’s Hotel is in an incredible location; be sure to book a room with a balcony facing the sea! The rooms are big and comfortable, with a small table and chairs.
