We loved pretty much everything about this place. Great food, friendly, helpful staff and beautiful views. They were very patient with our 1,5 year old and also helped out when one of us caught a small cold. Make sure you book a room with a balcony. Great value for money.

Das Casa do Mar hat eine prima Lage, man hat vom Balkon des Restaurants einen Blick auf das Meer und ist nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, das Essen aus der eigenen Küche sehr schmackhaft. Besonders schön sind die Zimmer mit Meerblick. Sehr sehr angenehm war die Versorgung nach dem “honesty system” - man konnte sich 24/7 aus dem Kühlschrank bedienen und hat einfach den Verbrauch aufgeschrieben. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die sehr freundliche und entgegenkommende Kommunikation beim Buchungsvorgang.

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this place. The sea view rooms not only offer beautiful vistas but with the sliders open you can hear the waves. The staff that greet you each day are top notch treating you like family and offering assistance with whatever you need. There is an on sight restaurant and bar for times you don’t want to venture out but plenty of other delicious options within a short walk. Market and beach less than a 5 minute walk. This place has thought of everything, even providing chairs and canopy free for guests. Just ask during your included (yummy) breakfast and they will set everything up while you are brushing your teeth. If you catch fresh fish (we didn’t) the kitchen staff with prepare it for your evening dinner. Casa do Mar is a bit more expensive but totally worth every penny.
