Narciso is a local Mozambican made good! Having begun his working life as a young boy selling bracelets on the beach, he went on to become one of the very first locals to surf, known to the local community as 'Big Tomato'. Narciso then went on to work as the head bar man of MozamBeats Motel and created the Swim Organisation 'Nemos Pequenos'. The purpose of the swim organisation is to save lives of local children by teaching them to be "Ocean Guardins".

It is a 20 minute walk along the quiet beach (or a 5 minute drive) to Tofo Beach/market and the bustling centre of town, with all its barracas, restaurants, bars and shops. Here you can find a range of foods from all over the world, as well as gifts for all the family. Alternatively, you can learn to surf in Tofo bay (which is perfect for beginners, Tofinho is for the more advanced surfers) or go diving at the famous local reefs in search of whale sharks, mantas, turtles or Humpback Whales (in winter).
