easy to check in and check out, location is good, just take the tram to central easily, you can have good sleep, it is quite. There are lots of free food and drinks in the refrigerator. We are 2 people and we can sleep separately, 1 in the sleeping room downstairs, 1 on soft bed on upstairs I love the windows can enjoy the sunshine and have a look to the river price is reasonable, ams accomodation is expensive

Come and enjoy your stay in Amsterdam in our BnB the Waterhouse. You will be staying in your own private guesthouse: a living room/kitchen dining area and separate toilet upstairs; a bedroom and bathroom with jacuzzi for 2 persons downstairs. We do not share any space. It is located near the city center, just a couple of minutes by public transportation or a 15 min walk. Bed-no-Breakfast: we stuff the fridge so you can do your own thing. IMPORTANT NOTE: Current regulations say that you are not allowed to cook. However, we have a toaster, fridge, coffee and tea maker and dishwasher.
For the past 20 years, Clea has been happily working as a freelance lawyer in the Dutch film industry, helping producers to raise finance for their films. Ewoud is a chemist and has his own company. We are both fortunate that we can afford to work parttime, leaving time for our 4 children from our previous marriages, in the age of 10, 12, 13 and 14. We love traveling, cooking, the beach and each other. We live mainly in our houseboat not far from the centre, fully renovated in 2017. We also spend weekends in our small house right on the beach of IJmuiden, half an hour from Amsterdam. Every now and then we rent out the B&B in our houseboat and we are looking forward to having you as our guest!
The Dijksgracht is a quiet street, and you can swim in front of the door, yet it is only 2 tram stops away from Central Station.We are very near to the centre, a 3-minute tram ride (2 stops) or 15 min walk (1,5 km or 1 mile) to central station. At the very end of our street is Hanneke's Boom, with a large & sunny terrace where you can enjoy nice drinks & a variety of snacks Their menu also offers pretty decent food. Also at the end of our street is Mediametic, a vibrant art centre with lectures, workshops, art projects and a nice terrace. Arty farty. If a performance where poetry is read to cabbages is your thing: this is the place to be! Another nice place to visit on walking distance: a few hunderd meters from the end of our street is the "Bimhuis", a beautiful music venue where exiting gigs - mostly jazz and modern- from wellknown international jazz artists as well as local new talent take place.
