Forget boring hotel rooms! If you are in Amsterdam it’s all about the canals, isn’t it? Perfectly located the house boat presents a bit like shabby-chic, think more glamping but with the necessary mod cons making for a very comfortable stay. The host was generous with coffee pods, cereals and other treats. We were really lucky with the weather and being able to sit up on the deck and watch the world go by was fantastic. Staying on the boat made our Amsterdam stay a real experience. As the host was unwell we were very well looked after by Ellis, her marvellous neighbour.

Fantastic different place to stay on the canals in Amsterdam. The host Lydia was friendly and gave some very good recommendations about the area regarding places to eat and things to do. Sitting up on the deck watching the world go by with a glass of wine was an added bonus. The houseboat was within walking distance to most attractions in Amsterdam.

perfect cosy and quiet location but close enough to all the hussle and bussle. great Wi-Fi, with everything you need. The host was very welcoming and friendly with lots of great tips - even offered to come and find us if we got lost! the houseboat has everything you could need including a hair dryer and coffee machine. Fill with fresh flowers even snacks and drinks were set out for us on arrival. wonderful host and wonderful accommodation.

The boat location is absolutely as in the center as one could imagine. But what we liked the most is that it has a charme no other place can have. As in its name, it’s romantic but it also feel like home. Lydia, the owner, makes you also feel like that! a big applause to her too!!

The owner is super friendly and accommodating. We arrived to the property and was greeted with a bottle of wine and some snacks. The boat made our stay much more of an experience compared to if we would have stayed in a traditional hotel. We spent most of our time on the outdoor section of the boat with chairs and a table, people watching all through the night.
