I have only good words for this review! The instructions we received for checking in and out were super clear, and Jansje was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. There's a folder with a comprehensive guide on everything in the flat, along with local recommendations in NDSM for places to eat and drink. The flat is very well decorated and cosy and felt very much like we were welcome there! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for fairly simple cooking. Location wise, you're about 10-15 mins walk from a supermarket, bars, restaurants, and couple of ferry ports, from which you can get to Centraal and Houthavens. No complaints from me there. The area around the flat doesn't feel as quaint as some parts of the main city (not a problem, more observation), but it was very quiet and felt very safe to be in.

    “The studio design was super cool and the place was spotless! Owner was very helpful too :) Pictures don't do it justice. The studio is situated in a lovely quiet area and is only a 15 minute bike+ferry ride away from the city centre.”

Our architectural house (2019) is a sustainable development in an area that used to be an industrial waterfront. The house is new but the interior is mostly old. Design is what I love and have been collecting over 30 years now. So the studio has all the features you need in 2023 but with a vintage vibe! We host from 3 nights minimum. Sometime 2 nights become an option in between 3 and 3.
I am an interior photographer who bought a piece of land to have this beautiful house built on. So lucky!
It is near the vibrant NDSM-area with lots of restaurants, clubbing venues, a supermarket and bakery. The Amsterdam-North area is now very popular and known for beautiful restaurants of all shapes and moods. Make reservations in advance! Please inform yourself about the location before you book. We do not want you to be disappointed as it is not in the city centre. But very easy accessible. Take the free ferry to NDSM from Central Station and enjoy the new architecture from the water.
