Situated in Amsterdam and with Vondelpark reachable within 2.7 km, Olympic Hotel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar.

The hotel is 5 or 6 metro stops from Centraal Station. The staff is very friendly, we bought a ticket for public transport for 5 days directly from them for 33 euros, which significantly saved our budget, because... for 1 day travel costs about 18 euros. The room was very clean, the hotel was comfortable and not noisy, the view from the window was directly on the canal, a very pleasant view!

Beautiful place to visit. Bit busy during certain festivals and tulip season. City overcrowded, best to stay outside the center. Very well organises transport system. Lots to see and do. Book well in advance if you want to visit Anne Frank House.

Amsterdam is a fantastic city to explore in the Netherlands. With trains running 20 hrs a day, you can get almost everywhere pretty reasonable. I spent 9 days, was able to visit 4 cities. Great food, great shopping! City felt very safe. Great day trips to numerous cities from Amsterdam.

Old, historic city with lots of canals and waterways.

Old, historic city with lots of canals and waterways. Easiest way around is walking. Lots of historic buildings and museums to see in the central city area. Train from/to airport to central city terminal is inexpensive, and easy to figure out. People are extremely friendly, and most speak English. Many, many people walking around and viewing the central city, especially around central train station and streets nearby. Not easy to find a restroom, and when you do, there's a lineup, and you have to pay to get in - interesting. Credit or debit cards seems to be the best payment methods.

An excellent European destination with world class museums, restaurants, and tourist activities (canal cruise, Keukenhof Gardens at tulip time, rijstaffel dinner, shopping). City seemed safe at night for walking. Cleanliness level is medium. Costs level also medium. Getting around by Uber was very easy. What to avoid: summer crowds, not getting reservations well in advance.

Amsterdam Museums well worth a visit , public transport is great, use the 9292 app to give you details where/ when next tram/ bus or train will be. Van Gogh Museum can ONLY be booked in advance and at least 4 weeks in advance. Well worth a visit. Amsterdam can be a noisy & busy city but a lot to do and safe. Leiden 30 min by train from Amsterdam was a lot more quaint and peaceful with a windmills, museums and great restaurants.

Mine was a business trip - so not much time to enjoy the great cosmopolitan feel of the south city area. Been there many times before - great compact city - lots to do, new and old. 1m people - 750k bicycles so beware - they don't stop! Trams, rail and Uber all good. Would always recommend a trip to Amsterdam!

This is my place to go when I want to spend a weekend in Amsterdam. The place is so green and cosy that instantly you are transport to a chill ambient. The cocktails are really good in both places (Restaurant and rooftop bar) I like to choose a room in the 8th floor and I always pay a bit more to have a room with terrace or the Suite that has an increible V shape with awesome views. Pool and Spa are great too! This hotel for me has a great price/value ratio and I found it nicer that some of the 5 star hotels in the city.

We arrived very early in Amsterdam and were able to access our room much earlier than expected. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The advance assistance by WhatsApp was also very useful. There's a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel is located a little way from the city centre, but is quieter as a result. Also, there are good bus connections right outside the hotel and the walk into town through Westerpark is very nice - there are also plenty of cafes and places to eat around there.

The location, next to Amsterdam's Centraal Station, is ideal if you plan to use the train to take day trips from the city. The staff was extremely accommodating and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Some people complain about street noise, but Amsterdam is a lively city and it wasn't too bad. Really, all of the hotels in the city center are in old building and some noise is unavoidable. The air conditioning was solid.

We were upgraded for free to a view and king size bed which was greatly appreciated. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever stayed in. The location was perfect; close to Amsterdam Central Station for the Eurostar and the city centre. The room was of a good size for two of us. The staff that were encountered were all very friendly and helpful. Although spa/gym facilities were not used it was nice to have the option.

The hotel was in a great location. within easy walking distance to the city centre of Amsterdam and sights. The room was a good size given we had 3 adults and 2 children. There is a parking station close by (Parkeergarage Museum Quarter Amsterdam) which is well secured and cheaper than street parking or other parking garages. I would recommending using this if you drive here.

The hotel is stunning with magnificent views of Amsterdam and its surroundings. Despite being one of the biggest hotels in the benelux the hotel never feels crowded. Exceptional breakfast buffet (they even went as far as paint the eggs in different colours because it was Easter). City center bit far off (not walkable) but very doable when biking (e.g. donkey bikes).

Location is just outside of the Amsterdam city centre, but easily accessible by trains, trams and buses. For the price of this amazing hotel, compared to the hostels we were finding in the city centre for slightly more, we decided to stay here and did not regret it. The hotel is really beautiful!.
