Loved the facilities, room very comfortable and spacious and a roof top pool to relax away from the bustle of Thamel. Location was great and room service and laundry were great!

Fantastic new hotel on the edge of Thamel - felt very luxurious after 11 days of trekking. The room was large and extremely comfortable, staff were very friendly and welcoming, and despite being next to a major road was very quiet. Dinner was also great at the upstairs restaurant.

The breakfast and dinner was exceptional! The pool lies perfectly on the rooftop terrace. We got a room upgrade which was amazing! The personnel from all the different sections was extremely friendly! The 5 stars are well deserved!

The hotel is located near the center of Thamel, the center of tourism in Kathmandu. It was very easy to get around from here, yet it wasn't so close so it was comparatively quiet. The staff was super nice and attentive. The rooms were super clean and facilities were outstanding. Breakfast was great too.

Great hotel in a great location. Complete escape from busy Kathmandu with Thamel and its shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice and overlooking the beautiful pool with views over Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, in particular the beds with very nice bed linen.

The Hotel Barahi was incredibly good value for the high standard of service and size of the rooms. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the reception and housekeeping teams in particular went above and beyond to deliver a great service. The facilities were also really lovely and kept very clean. The view from the pool area is fantastic and it was great to always be able to get a seat in the pool area to work or to relax.
