A fully equipped family home where a 3 year old white cat lives along with the host. You will be sharing all the common spaces including the kitchen, dining, living room, bathroom and rooftop. The cat has full access to the home except your private guests rooms. The host lives on a separate floor in the same house Your room is on the top floor with direct access to the rooftop and terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and dine. You're welcome to use all of the stuff available in the kitchen including a wide range of our family spices. Linens and towels will be provided to guess during their stay. You can use the common spaces to relax and/or work as you enjoy the serenity and views of the mountains around. On a clear day you will also be able to view a small part of the himalayas from most places at home.

A young adult pursuing multiple things in life. I'm a travel enthusiast who has been lucky enough to have moved around a decent bit. I have lived in over five different countries in four different continents including North America, Africa, Europe and Asia. During my travels. I've been lucky enough with various wonderful people who shared their life experiences and living spaces with me. Now I start this venture with the desire to pay back the favor and welcome travelers from across the board to my home to ensure they have an unforgettable experience during their time here.

A quite neighborhood in walking distance to the Australian Embassy and American Embassy (5 and 8 mins walking respectively). Small and large supermarkets within walking distance including a convenience store right in front of the door. Easy access to public transportation. If you prefer using ride sharing app, less than three dollar on a cab to the city center (Thamel / Basantapur) and under a dollar if you choose a ride sharing motorbike. As our home is located towards the northern part of the city, it is close to the Northern mountains around Kathmandu. The Shivapuri National Park - where the mountains start - is just a 20 minute drive from home. There is access to various hiking and trekking routes from this National park. Budanilkantha - the sleeping Vishnu is also close to home. As this is a family home and not a hotel. We expect you to act accordingly during your stay. If you choose to stay with us, our home will be your home for the duration. Hence, being respectful, keeping common areas clean and taking care of things will be a joint responsibility. You're welcome to bring outside food and drinks as long as you clean up afterwards. As this is a residential neighborhood, we will be mindful of our neighbors and respect quite hours in the night and early mornings. Parties of any kind are strictly forbidden.
