The homestay has about five rooms, a quite place in the mountain area. I can see sunrise when I opened my windows in the morning. It is an annex building by their restaurant. Friendly owner and family.

My stay at Sunrise Point exceeded my expectations. The private rooms are huge and you get a double bed and private bathroom with a hot efficient shower. The views from the room are breathtaking, you can see the Himalayas, and are incredible at sunrise, it feels like you are living in the clouds. The rooms are set in their own area away from the family home so it's very peaceful and private so you can have plenty of solitude in the quiet mountains, but it felt very homely and special to join the family and eat in the communal area, having each meal cooked fresh with ingredient from the farm. The family all care about their guests so much always making sure they have the best time. Staying here is such a special experience to live close to a local family to learn from them about their farm, the passion for a happy life, their culture and traditions.

Super friendly, nice atmosphere, as social or unsocial as you want it to be. In a beautiful location. Food very reasonably priced and good quality with homegrown veggies. Accommodation is basic in the way you expect it to be but everything was clean and if there had been an issue I’m sure they would have sorted it for you.

It was great home stay experience. Although it's bit far from bus stop, I could enjoy quiet time and beautiful sunrise in Nagarkot. In the night I enjoyed meal with family. all the time was lovely. The meal was great, all come from their farm.I want to come back again!

This place is just the best. If you’re seeking a true, down to earth Nepali experience, look no further. Such a WONDERFUL, caring family surrounded by exceptional nature, freshly preparing every meal with ingredients all grown right in their garden. The room is simple yet totally sufficient, if you’re wanting swanky hotel room comfort then you don’t suit this place anyway. It’s just bliss, honestly. Such a beautiful escape from the world and such lovely company. If you’re lucky with the weather you’ll catch a sunrise over the Himalayas right from your bedroom, but that’s certainly not the main attraction. Stop searching and book this place now, (and add an extra night or two to what you were originally planning)
