Hi my name is Leonie I love my home and enjoy sharing it with my guests. I have 2. small (& very friendly dogs) called Dash & Lexi (dachshund - sausage dogs) Dash thinks all guests come to the house to visit him!! he has made a lot of friends. We have hosted guests from many countries & enjoy hearing all about where they live. I like to cook & have had great reviews about my breakfasts. I have lived in New Zealand for over 25 years (I was born in England) & call NZ Home - I am very proud to live here & try to give my overseas guests the best experience I can as I truly love this country. I have a large selection of leaflets for places to visit which my guests are free to take. I have been welcoming guests into my home for a number of years and am pleased that we can once again welcome guests from overseas as well as locals. I have collected a selection of tourist information and will also help with local information, things to do & places to visit etc.

Hi My house is a large 5 bedroom home I have 4 double bedrooms for guests, please take the time to look at the photos. I have 2 dachshunds myself, Dash & Lexi Bedroom 1 is downstairs it has a queen bed built in wardrobe & has an en-suite with shower. Bedroom 2 is upstairs has a queen bed & a single bed it has a built in wardrobe & shares a family bathroom (bath, shower & 2x washbasins) with bedrooms 3 & 4 Bedroom 3 is upstairs & has a queen bed & built in wardrobe & shares the family bathroom with rooms 2 & 4 Bedroom 4 is upstairs & has 2x single beds, built in wardrobe & shares the family bathroom with rooms 2 & 3 All guests have access to a large guest lounge upstairs with TV, video & DVD players. There is an extensive library & a selection of board games. I do not have TV's in the rooms as I have found my guests like to mix with myself & each other. All my guests share the dining room, & garden areas. A large kitchen where tea & coffee are available 24/7 & also another casual seating area. I have a washing machine & dryer in the garage there is also outside drying facilities. Please take time to look at all my photos. I use the downstairs lounge but guests are always welcome to join me. My garden is fully fenced with sitting out areas.

Neighbourhood information

My neighbourhood is very quiet & safe, & close to Botany town centre, It is located a short drive from Auckland airport. There are good links to the main roads leading to Auckland City centre & the motorway. A bus stop at the end of the road goes to many locations including the Central Auckland. A medical centre is 5 minutes away. Movie theatres are located in Botany & Howick with the choice of many bars and restaurants close by. My house is also close to several beaches. For sporting people there is a golf club 5 minutes walk away, several gyms & a sports centre with tennis courts etc including swimming pool 10 minutes drive away, also a reserve with a football pitch, Ice skating & bowling is also close at Botany town centre. For younger children there are several play parks close by. For guests who enjoy retail therapy there is a great choice of shopping centres a short drive away - these include Botany, Pakaranga, Silvia Park, & Manukau.
