For ski season: stay 5 nights and only pay for four! Quiet location on the outskirts of town, yet still only a 10 minute, 1km stroll to several cafes, restaurants and bars. We have Two Rivers meeting in our garden: The Mangateitei and Mangawhero, which will lull and relax you to a great nights sleep. Relax on the deck, sitting area or in the spa, and watch the sun set on Mt Ruapehu and the Turoa ski field with your vehicle parked safely on our roomy off street parking, your skis, boards and bikes stored in the secure shed, and your clothing waiting for you warm and dry the following morning. Forrest walks are just across the road which exit by the Ohakune i-site and you can cycle the quiet Burns Street, Riverside Way or for the more adventurous, we are only 3.5km away from the start of the Old Coach Road, a must do cycle or walk. Each room is warm and cosy, with a heater and electric under-blanket for mid winter, though each room was built in 2018 and is double glazed and fully insulated. If you must keep up with your TV programs, each room has a smart TV, with on demand apps, Netflix, and there is free unlimited guest WiFi available in all rooms, decks and spa.

Our family came to NZ in 2010 and we're originally from the UK. I am English, my wife is Scottish who I met whilst I was serving with the RAF. Our children were born in Germany and Ireland, though our cat was born locally, who will keep himself to himself and not come anywhere near the rooms. We love our skiing, walking and cycling, so why live anywhere else.

We are on a quiet residential street with no thoroughfare. There is minimal traffic passing our house, though you will mostly just hear the relaxing flow of the two rivers. Directly across from our driveway is the Jubilee Riverside walk which will take you to the Ohakune i-site and on to the Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park, a 20 minute stroll. Return via town and one of the many cafes selling excellent coffee (and cake - well you're on holiday). The Old Coach Road is only 3.5km away, where you can walk or cycle to Horopito, or just to the viaduct and have a picnic at the massive table. There are several cafes, bars and restaurants only 1km or a 10 minute stroll into town.
