Located in Bora Bora and with Mount Otemanu reachable within 4.1 km, BORA BORA HOLIDAY'S LODGE provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace.

Nice greeting on arrival with a flower ei by Maheata. We were late arriving due to bird strike on our flight over. We had to return to Papeete, then changed aircraft. By the time we arrived, it was around 8pm & she was still waiting for us. Pool is wonderful, rooms clean, aircon & wifi is great, location easy to find & bonus being close to Borabora Yacht Club with nice tasty meals served there. We hired a car via Avis to get around & explore the island. We enjoyed our stay here.

Oa Oa Lodge, hotel in Bora Bora

Offering an outdoor pool, Oa Oa Lodge is a waterfront property set in Bora Bora. Vaitape is 1 km away.

We rented an overwater bungalow. There are 3 at this property. There were steps going into the water and our balcony hung over the water. We loved being able to swim right off the deck and enjoy sunsets here. We liked the small fridge, the kettle so we could make tea/coffee and the dishes. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner.

InterContinental Bora Bora & Thalasso Spa, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Bora Bora

Located on Motu Piti Aau and featuring an exclusive private beach, this 5-star resort and day spa offers private villas situated over the water.

The resort facilities were amazing! Our overwater bungalow delivered what we expected, and it was a dream! Breakfast was very expensive, but really good - no other resort we stayed had the same amount/quality of options. I would recommend booking the accommodation with breakfast included - not to be paid at the property. Watch out for the transfer charges in case you're going to its sister property/mainland. They can double charge you for it. We couldn't see any sharks or rays around (other resorts have more coral reefs in their private area where you can see more marine life), but we managed to spot a moray what was great! Hawaiian canoe, stand up paddle and kayaks are available for free - what was great to get some exercise done while enjoying the hotel facilities.

Sunset Hill Lodge, hotel in Bora Bora

Offering free WiFi in a dedicated garden lounge, Sunset Hill Lodge provides self-contained apartments on the waterfront or on the hill side. All rooms boast picturesque sea views.

I liked everything about Sunset Hill Lodge! From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. Both Dolores and Gérard had helpful information about nearby stores, the public beach, etc. The view was lovely, and the location was walking distance from 2 grocery stores.

In general, Bora Bora has beautiful nature, but I notice that everything is much worse than it was 25 years ago. The opposite is true for the Maldives. It's getting better there every year. On Bora Bora they have big problem with the staff. Thay have not enough training. On main Island fast all hotels are destroyed…

    Truly beautiful!

Truly beautiful! Words cannot describe the different colours of the water or how it feels when you’re in it. You’ve got to go there to experience it. A boat ride in the lagoons is a must as is snorkelling with the rays and sharks. I would go back in a heartbeat. You don’t have to stay in the big hotels which charge a lot of money, there are plenty of other alternatives. Taxis are not cheap but providing you plan what you’re doing, you won’t have to use them too much. I flew to Bora Bora from Tahiti which only took 50mins. The view of the islands from the plane was fantastic.

Another beautiful island in French Polynesia.

Another beautiful island in French Polynesia. We took a day and toured around the island. We went to the WWII military outpost on the east side of the island. The terrain was steep in a few places, but the scenic vistas were amazing. We did a lot of walking around town and visited the art galleries. We missed eating at Bloody Mary's because they had just closed at 2pm for siesta. We had two great meals at St. James French Restaurant.

Bora Bora is beautiful, but I think it is over hyped.

Bora Bora is beautiful, but I think it is over hyped. The Lagoon and Island is beautiful, but the other islands of French Polynesia are beautiful as well. For the snoodies who want to be pampered and spend that kind of money on that, it might be for them. But if your down to earth and just want to enjoy things and have a little fun, a couple days is plenty to see it or just to dive with the manta rays, and meet some locals. The people on Bora Bora all seemed very happy and nice. I seemed to get waved to and smiled to by almost all of the locals there.

When you love water activities Bora Bora is the place to go.

When you love water activities Bora Bora is the place to go. The coral gardens on our tour have been beautiful. We spottet lot's of different and special fish species and saw sharks and rays. The blue lagoon is an attraction in itself, the view under water is really incredible. Life is expensive in here and it is obviously touristy but who would expect anything else and it is still what it is - paradise. And great fun to visit for relaxation and water activities.
