We liked and enjoyed much the Underground River tour with very unique features. It's 1 and a half hour travel from downtown to Sabang Port. We tried also the exotic food, the "Tamilok", eaten raw dipped in vinegar. It tastes like oyster.
We also availed of the half day city tour. It's also an educational tour learning the historical background of the City.
We Bona's Changlao, serving Vietnamese food.
We had dinner at Kinabuchs Grill and Bar which accepts debit or card payment.
We also tried Gelateria ice cream in Bekiko. Also an Italian restobar and coffee shop.
Palawan is producer of cashew. You can buy cashew. Nuts in supermarkets and souvenir shops.
Mode of transportation in downtown area tricycle and jeepney. For long distance trip, van or car for rent are available.
I was not able other tourist destinations in the city had very short stay in the city.

We spent 3 months visiting around Palawan.
We spent 3 months visiting around Palawan. Started in El Nido then went to Port Barton, then to Sabang, then to Puerto Princesa. Puerto Princesa is the main town for everything (like hospitals and banks and malls). Good foods in El Nido and plenty of island hopping adventures but also quite expensive and touristy (ie. taking advantage of the foreigners). Each place had some interesting adventures. I would say that we overstayed at each place except Sabang where we only stayed 2 nights.

I felt slightly unsafe as a female traveler here, there were not many likeminded travelers around me, it felt very congested and the locals here could not communicate easily with me as an english speaker. I didnt find people to be very friendly here. The beaches/bays here were not very beautiful and there were not many attractions or places to eat good food. Don't recommend staying here as a western traveler if you have the choice of going straight to Port Barton or El Nido (both of which are INCREDIBLE) :)

Like other cities in the PHL, Puerto Princesa has changed a lot over the past 30 years. More people, more vehicles, more shops, more resorts. One thing that has not changed YET is the respectfulness and courteousness of the local folks.
The highlight of Coron is its many options on island hopping tours.
The highlight of Busuanga is the Calauit Island -- a mini-Kenyan or Tanzanian Safari. The giraffe feeding event in Calauit is more enjoyable than in any giraffe safari in the world due to the sheer number of giraffe that goes to the feeding area.
The highlight of El Nido is its lovely high end resort and the twin lakes tour.
The highlight of Puerto Princesa is the Underground Cave.
San Vicente is now being developed as another option. Its beach is very long so this looks promising.
Having experienced the Palawan highlights, I am content with the peace and quiet at the Dolce Vita Hotel. Important for me is Dolce Vita's clean and deep swimming pool.

We stayed at the Astoria.
We stayed at the Astoria. The one thing that surprised me was they didn't take me ATM cards. I did have credit cards available and my traveling companion was local so I was able to work around it. The bed was a little firm, other than that, the room was perfect. They said the room didn't have a view, but the place is so pretty, the view of the grounds was still magnificent. Especially with the ocean peaking around the next building. The nightly show at dinner was great and the staff was sooooooo nice. We arranged a few tours and saw things like Port Barton and the Underground River. The island is beautiful and I would definitely go back.

Kuya Luelle was very helpful. We were able to conveniently and confidently explore Palawan from North to South with his help.
The area is near Honda Bay but is not too far from the city. There's a nearby mall, so we were able to get our essentials since we stayed quite long.
The place is huge. It's like an apartment since it also has a kitchen and living room. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place. Everything is superb!
The nondescript gate into our accommodations in Puerto Princesa, Palawan belie the abundant artistry of what awaits inside. The Bamboo Nest celebrates the creative ingenuity of natural Filipino living with modern conveniences, resulting in the elevation of sustainable ecological lifestyle practices as the norm, making for an easy, comfortable, safe yet colorfully inspiring space...
This apartment is a hidden gem in the city of Puerto Princesa. A very large private freestanding home with a big yard. The manager waited for us to arrive to hand over the keys and even offered to drive us to the airport upon check out! The location couldn't be any better for accessing the city while still being quiet & private. Bonus: the wi-fi speed is crazy fast both up/down!
They went over and beyond to help make our stay wonderful! They even helped my partner surprise me on our stay! Thank you Munting Paraiso, deeply appreciated! The place is so relaxing and they have friendly staff. They have delicious food, clean rooms and perfect amenities! Highly recommended for your stay here in Palawan. This is the perfect hotel for your vacation! 😍
First time namin dito sa Puerto Princesa kaya we really sought the recommendation of my cousin who is a local in PPS. We requested for a hotel that is conveniently located near the attractions and food places. Also, we have a certain budget lang. This was recommended to us which I can say 101% na perfect recommendation for travelers like us.
My friend's and my luggage had not arrived in Puerto Princesa due to some airline fault. The staff was super helpful and we got it back the next day (with some hussle but they really assisted us beyond any help you would expect from a hotel). We also booked a tour to the underground river. Was super easy to book.
This was not our first choice kasi we are supposed to join our friends staying in other hotels and we are just so happy that we chose here instead. I mean, with the money that we paid for, we really got so much more. So happy, we chose Flores de Musa in our first ever visit sa Puerto Princesa.

It was a clean and comfy place to stay one night . It has air conditioners and good breakfast included . We paid for a transfer from our hotel to port Barton and they offered us a free bike to have a ride in puerto princesa while we wait for the transfer.
The hotel staffs are very accommodating/ very good. Always concern of our needs, Specially that we were there for the Ironman Palawan. Perfect crew, il definitely go back here. Pls commend all your staffs there. I love them all. Very Good experience.
The rooms were really clean with aircon. It was perfect that when we went to the Balabac tour we could leave all our baggage there for the whole trip for free. It is a very good location, everything within walking distance in Puerto Princesa.
It is a modern establishement, very clean. The
bed is comfortable. The staff is very helpful, even they helped me a signed assignment for private use to produce. It is a very good value to check out Puerto Princesa and the surroundings.
The hotel is nice, very accessibile from the baywalk of Puerto Princesa. The staff were kind, we stayed here for 2 weeks and the staff were very helpful during our stay. The room is clean, and they really do the cleaning every day.
Balai Princesa was the best hotel I did in Palawan in term of confort, services and value for money. The room was spacious and clean. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was great. I recommend this hotel.
Fast communication with the hotel staff, airport pick up went smoothly. Puerto Princesa is a transit city when going to Balabac or other destinations and Fersal Hotel is definitely recommended.
The hotel is a wonderful little village in a remote area of Palawan. The environment at the beach was very nice and the staff very friendly and efficient.
