The location is perfect, in the core of the old city centre. Also, the premises are in an old authentic building and even though they are small, one has everything needed. Rooms are cold and fresh due to thick old walls made of stones :) The Castle of St. George is fantastic, with several panoramic viewpoints...small parks, many coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops... No traffic except for vehicles with permission... All in all, great!

Property information

Cosy apartment situated in the heart (walls) of the Saint Jorge’s Castle with spectacular views of the neighborhoods nearby and the Tagus River. The characteristic Lisbon architecture, the narrow streets and the “fado” houses will not leave you indifferent when observing the lives and daily customs of the locals. Restaurants, coffee shops and local supermarkets will give you everything you need to enjoy your stay at this wonderful and comfortable apartment. There is no doubt that you will think twice before going back home. The apartment, situated on the second floor, has a bathroom and a kitchen, equipped with anything needed for short or long stays. At the end of the hall, you can access a bedroom with two single beds through a living room/dining room with amazing views of the river. It consists of one chaise long and a couch, both of which have the possibility to turn into double beds.

“Castelo de São Jorge” are the ruins of a castle in the Saint Jorge’s hill in Lisbon. It used to be known as “Castelo dos Mouros”, and it stands in a dominant position in the highest hill of the historic center, offering the visitors one of the most beautiful views of the city and the Tagus River’s estuary. It was a royal castle until the XVI century and it is kept in excellent condition because of the efforts of the Portuguese Government. The apartment is inside the walls of the castle, so has the added benefit of being extremely central in its location, beong within easy reach to the centre of the city and sites sich as; Rossio, Praça do Comercio, Bairro Alto, Chiado…
