The place is clean, large and the owner/staff are friendly. Coquette family owned & manged villa. Our room was large and clean, with plenty of amenities. Designed to take you back in time, at least 30 years. Location is great, quiet and really close to the citadel, with a gas station across the street. Parking was free, private and secure.

Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall.
The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Deva bears special significance worldwide, to members of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, as its castle dungeon was the scene of our founder, Francis David's imprisonment and death. Freedom of religion, an idea first proclaimed in Europe at the Diet of Torda in 1568, is associated with his name. His life's work is revered throughout the world. So it was most disappointing that references to his legacy have been removed in today's Deva Castle. The multilingual guide posts convey a generic non-story, totally lacking substance. A visitor is left puzzled whether this occurred by ignorance or by design.

Deva is a beautiful city.
Deva is a beautiful city. We got to see the Deva Airshow which was the highpeak of our stay. It's really easy to get to the citadel by foot from the center town. We didn't stay for a long time so we didn't get to do much but we recommend to visit the citadel at night and the aerodrome.

I like very much Deva and it's surroundings.
I like very much Deva and it's surroundings. Very much too see and visit: the fortress and Giardini di Zoe in Banpotoc are a must do!
Very clean and pleasant town, nice city center with great terraces like The Refresh! Have a fresh there, it's nice!
I also recommand Hanu lui Mos Opinca for a great meal and view over the fortress and the city.
Probably in the best location in Deva, right on the main pedestrian street in the old town, but inside a quiet courtyard. Bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and the citadel and park are 2-3 minutes away. The kitchen was not particularly well equipped when we arrived, but since I planned to cook some food for my baby, I requested some additional kitchen equipment and the hosts were kind to provide the items to us on the same day. I appreciated the fact that the furniture was high quality and the mattress was really comfortable.
We discovered a great place to stay in Deva, really surprizing! Everything was great, starting with facilities, private parking place, very nice and comfortable apartment with an amazing terrace and a great view to the fortress’ gondola, the hosts are very kind and helped us with a lot of recommendations. Nice running track and football field nearby.
We definetely will come again!!!
- the owner, lady Maria, is a person full of life and kindness;
- the building and all it contains is brand new;
- the room is very clean and the beddings makes you feel like in a good austrian hotel;
- the building is environmentally friendly using solar energy for electricity and hot water;
- the breakfast is for gourmets, with all kinds of specific product.
Apartment in Deva is in a residential neighborhood, quiet, with streetside parking.
The place is very spacious, clean, and comfortable for one or several nights.
Host is receptive, arranged for plates and silverwares with Nespresso maker outside room.
Roomy bathroom, and small fridge in room.
We had take out pizza nearby which was really good.
It's literally a star hotel. Well equipped facility and spacious lounge/room/restroom/kitchen providing free coffee and tea. Friendly staff and humble owner provide good info for visiting spots, such as the fortress behind the hostel. Over my expectation. It is the cheapest hostel in this area, but might be the best quality of all. Superb.
The house was amazing and so was the room. Felt like a 5 star hotel and everything was very clean. The host was amazing as well and a very nice person to talk to. The coffee and treats were a big plus for us. We can't function without coffee and it was a very good coffee. Would definitely return if we visit Deva again.
Friendliness of the staff, cleanness of the room, free parking, and a good location for visiting downtown Deva on foot. I was able to walk/run up to the fortress. The breakfast was exquisitely tasty, as the food is natural.
Place is very quiet, clen, Laura was very nice and helpfull - many thanks for everything. Definitely will remember this place and will return with pleasure every time when will be in the area of Deva.
Excellent location on the road to Deva, brand new hotel, parking on site, very nice and professional staff. If you like to visit Hunedoara, Alba Iulia and Tara Hategului that’s the place to stay !!!
The location is welcoming you in a small, quiet, green corner of Deva city. With a view straight to the historical heritage, Deva fortress and only few minutes walk to reach the Deva city centre.
The apartment is very spacious, clean, modern, with great views. We felt very comfortable here. The owner was accessible and easy to talk to. I would stay here again when coming to Deva
From the outside it looks derelict and run down - like all other buildings in Deva - but is nicely made inside. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glasses. Good Wifi and smart TV.
- spacious room
- very clean
- close to the city center
- friendly and helpful staff
- free parking in front of the hotel
- they take security seriously
